No visit to Dubrovnik would be complete without a walk around city’s main claim to fame – spectacular city walls. Built in the 10th century these enormous walls, as high as six meters and up to six meters thick, provided a solid defence against invaders. With nearly 2 kilometres in length, these city walls offer a perfect spot for a casual stroll and mesmerizing views of Old Town and shimmering Adriatic. Other highlights include its two towers, the Minčeta Tower and the Bokar Tower, along with two forts, the Fort Lawrence and the Revelin Fortress. There are three access points to the walls: one close to the Dominican Monastery, one close to the Maritime Museum at Fort St. John and one at Pile Gate.

DO NOT BUY! You can get cheaper and more flexible ticket online!!!
Also, it’s so hard to find the place to get the ticket!!!

Walking The walls of Dubrovnik itself is amazing wne w a must do, but these tickets are extremely overpriced. You can get a €35 per day city pass, which includes the walls as well as every museum ando. Cable car ride to the top of the mountain. There’s a reason these tickets are nonrefundable. They know it’s extremely overpriced.

Amazing experience and a great way to view the old town from a different perspective.
Several little surprise treasures along the way (gorgeous gardens, ruins from a time long ago, panoramic landscapes and ocean views).
Note: take care in the heat, hydrate enough and be prepared for heights and lots of stairs. BUT, best of all...be prepared to be AMAZED!

If you buy the city pass, then this is actually free, and would warrant 5 stars. It's 35euro if you don't have the pass but the views on all sides are breathtaking. It's not for those with mobility issues, although hats off to the couple and their buggy, hoiking it up and down the stairs.

This walk is a must while you are in the area. Ticket also gives acess to the near by Fort Lovrijenac which also featured in Game of Thrones. Lots of stairs on the walk though, so consider your mobility. I'm a fit 55 year old who really doesn't like heights, but I managed and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Tickets were good and got us access to everything we wanted to see. However, getting the actual tickets was a little confusing. I would recommend better instructions on where to go once you have the vouchers.

The view is superb from the top of the ramparts, lots of steps but we are rewarded by the view. to do early in the morning.

One of my highlights of my trip to Dubrovnik the city walls is definitely a must. The views were amazing even though it was very physical and hot there were places along the wall to sit and have a drink.

Although this is a must do item, it is quite tiring with a steep set of steps at the start and many more before the circuit is completed. Fortunately there are places where you can sit, have a drink, etc and the views are very good. Although it is a 2 km walk, it requires plenty of time to do the circuit.
As wew were there at a quiet time of the year, I imagine it can get very busy and crowded.
