It was lovely to experience very small tastes of authentic dishes but the beer was one very small half a cup measure and the wine tasting was one bottle of white shared between 7, so hardly a wine tasting event and more of a one glass of wine thing. It was great to hear about local cuisine but we did think that most of the tastings would have been free normally as we each spent money purchasing from the suppliers we visited. Quite pricey at around £75 each but overall we did enjoy the experience but don’t go expecting more than a very small portion of food… one chocolate almond, one sliver of glacier fruit etc

What a wonderful tour. Our guide, Lara, was so knowledgeable and really lovely. We didn't walk too far and we tried so many things. We walked through the market and tried, cheese, bread, sausage and ham. We tried savoury and sweet items including the traditional socca (tasted like pancake and very pleasant) along with pizza.
We had chocolate coated almonds and the dried fruit which was absolutely delicious. We tried socca beer and French rose wine. We also tried olive oils and other delicious sweet treats.
We saw where Matisse used to live.
Took about 3 hours and it was a really great tour.

Marion did a fantastic job on our tour, it was a highlight of our trip to Nice! She gave a mix of Nice history along with telling us about the food that’s local to the region. Highly recommend to others!

Eli was a fun guide with lots of personality and knew many people around town. However, the tour was a bit disorganized and slow, and the food wasn’t great. It was hard to find the tour at the beginning (8 of 10 people were lost) and food was paid for and ready ahead of time like I’ve seen on many other tours. Wasn’t awful, but not worth the money.
