The stadium legend par excellence. Easily accessible by subway, I would always recommend it. The tours there ultimately offer the same thing including transfer and cost many times more.
The stadium is easy to visit on your own, there is a nice museum after the entrance with lots of great memorabilia from all the World Cups since 1930, Brazilian World Cup jerseys, original match balls, etc. You can visit a changing room and a small press stand and of course go into the stadium, sit on the players' benches, take great photos. I don't remember the exact entrance prices, I think it was around 25-30 euros

It was a dream to visit the legendary Maracanã with my family, we bought the black ones paying half price with a student card.

Very good, it covers the history of the Maracaná and football, a must-see stop if you like football and go to Rio, I would really go again...

To begin with, there is NO information about anything anywhere. I had to ask some random person on the street where I could visit the stadium. In the meantime, some hustlers were trying yo sell me tickets - I figured this might be official since, once again, there is no information anywhere. You have to pass a barrier at an entrance with no information before you can proceed to buy a ticket. They have so many employees, bur most of them do absolutely nothing. Again, no information about the tour or prices or anything. The woman at the counter was incredibly slow - probably because she was on her phone while dealing with customers. I did not know how much I had paid for this tour. But where they do do a good job is in insisting that you take one of those photos so that they can overcharge you for it at the end. I was in and out in 15mins. Apart from the stadium itself, they have old shirts and weird foot moulds of various players. What an incredible waste of time and money. Legendary stadium, sure, but this tour is by far the worst thing I have done in Rio. HOW is this one of the top rated attractions? It is also difficult to get to. Avoid, avoid, avoid

Fabulous stadium! Perfect local reception is easily accessible via the Maracanã metro station. I went to a game with 40 thousand people, against Volta Redonda, for the Rio championship. The exit is a little more complicated, but with patience, it flows. There is a direct line from the south and west zones (Jd. Oceânico), just ask. Regarding the tickets, I bought them directly at the Copacabana store (Nos Sra Copa/Duvivier). They only accept cash and you need the person's ID for each ticket. If you buy another way, I believe it will generate a voucher and in this case it will have to be exchanged at the stadium, so it's better to arrive early to avoid queues and delays.

Travel to Rio for my bday, Maracana stadium was our first stop, it did not disappoint, I highly recommend. Get you ticket/s ahead with skip the line really helped facilitating our entrance.

I took the Monitored Tour with admission included at Maracanã, on one of the tourist tours in Rio de Janeiro. He had not returned to the stadium after the renovation it underwent. I confess that I liked the old internal architecture more than the new one. The external one, being listed, remains the same. But the stadium is still very beautiful and well maintained and the experience of visiting it is interesting.

Very bad tour, especially compared to other stadiums I've visited!
No employee accompanies you, nothing is monitored/guided! It's definitely not worth the price paid and there are much more beautiful stadiums in Brazil. I do not recommend!
