One of the most popular beaches on the island located on the French Side. Guest can take part in water sports activities or lounge on the beach chairs. Or hang out at the local beach bars and try the island's local mixed rums.
3. Grand Case
Grand Case is a small town on the French side of the island of Saint Martin in the Caribbean. It lies on the Anguilla Channel, on the west coast of the island. Grand Case has a long sandy beach. It is well known for its many restaurants and beach bars. It is the most populous place of the French Saint Martin.
4. Marigot Market
The cosmopolitan capital of the French side, Here, boutiques and trendy restaurants sit side-by-side with traditional stalls. Do not miss the colors, smells and buzz of the local market. Fort Louis is just a hike away where you will enjoy a panoramic view of Marigot Bay and neighboring Anguilla.
5. Maho Beach
Maho Beach is located on the Dutch side of St. Maarten. It is famous for being adjacent to the Princess Juliana International Airport making it at attraction to visitors and locals alike and for plane-watchers enthusiast.
6. Philipsburg
On the way back to the port guest can opt to stop and end their tour in Philipsburg, the shopping mecca or the Caribbean...this duty free town is the capital of Dutch St. Maarten and consist of the Front Street and Back street for shopper. To the south of these street is the Great Bay beach and the Boardwalk that is lined with restaurants with local cuisines and fun bars. Philipsburg is just 1 mile away from the cruise port and guest can walk or take a water taxi back.

We took this excursion to see both sides of the island and learn more about St. Maarten when we were docked there in our cruise. The guide was super informative, and everyone in our party of 5 from ages 18-54 enjoyed it. They stopped to take pictuers at an overlook, pointed out resorts and landmarks, gave history of both sides of the island, and let us shop at an open air market on French side. We enjoyed getting smoothies, coconut water (in real coconuts) and souvenirs in the open market. When we returned to the port, there was great shopping before we got back on the boat.

Our tour to the Dutch and French sides was great! Our tour guide, Humphrey, was knowledgeable and friendly. He was very appreciative that we were an interactive group making the tour a lot of fun.

Captain Nate and Richard were prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. The tour was more than we expected and enjoyed learning more about the entire island. Definitely recommend.

We were a party of 6 and wanted to get to know the island via an expert. The tour guide Humphrey was excellent. On time, informative and knowledgeable about the island . We stopped at different vantage points on island to take pictures, along with a running commentary about the history. We also stopped at several highlight beaches on French and Dutch side. .. highly recommended tour !!
