• Things to bring: Umbrellar/ Hat, shirts (protect skins in the hot summer & strong sun, shoes/ sandals/ flip flops, swimming suits, towels, small money, sunglasses, suncream, camera, small waters (glass water bottle/thermos water bottle), snacks, raincoats, insect spray... Jackets (in the Winter).
• 8.00 – 9.00AM: Pick up at hotels in Hanoi old quarter (time to pick up depending your hotel locations...). If customers don't stay in Hanoi old quarter, pls come to Hanoi Opera house, 01 Trang Tien street before 8.00AM or Hanoi Aira boutique hotel & spa, 38A Tran Phu street at 8.20AM or CIS coffee shop, 162 Tran Quang Khai street at 8.50AM to get on the bus.

• Do not tip if asked by local people, we cannot stop them but warning to our tourist)
• Ha Long Bay is so beautiful and it's crowded every day, especially in summer and weekends -> it is often overcrowded by Vietnamese tourists in summer. But we’re the smallest group tour in Halong bay
• Sometimes, you will see garbages on Ha Long Bay due to changes in flowing water and tides, garbages from other places come to to Ha Long Bay. Government, local people, travel companies... are trying their best to clean up Ha Long Bay.
• For the best trip, we need your cooperation. Please tell us all the problems, questions if you have. Our tour guide is always there to help you.
• We also hope that customers will respect all other tourists in the group, respect the culture, timetable and common principles...
• Water is free on the bus. But follow up the policy of Halong bay administration about environment, they don't allow to bring plastic bottle water to the boat & visit spots. But tourists can bring multi-use bottle/ glass bottle/ thermos bottle...Or you can leave your plastic water bottle in your bag to pass the gate!
• Customers stay in Hanoi old quarter but don't see hotel/ address in the list to book -> No worries, please choose any hotel option that you can see in the list just to finish the booking, then we will come to pick up. Customers need to contact us via email/ phone/ zalo/ whatsaap to confirm the pick up information in this case as soon as possible
• Customers don't stay in Hanoi old quarter, please choose any hotel option that you can see/ or choose "hotel is not listed" just to finish the booking, then contact by emaill/ phone/ whatsaap/ zalo...-> we will recommend the best pickup point then.
• Customers stay on International cruise trip: If your cruise ship habour name is Halong international cruise port, we can arrange the cruise trip that is the same habour & customers just need to walk from your ship to our pick up point around 12.00PM (just 5 minutes). If your cruise ship habour is Cai Lan port, customers need to take a taxi to our Tuan Chau Marina habour at 12.00PM (20 minutes tranfer) or please contact us in advance to arrange pick up services with additional fees.

A great full day out, Phong our guide was efficient, humorous and seems like a seasoned Pro. His English is fantastic too! I love how tentative he was to everyone’s needs and especially the way he organised who sat at which table for lunch on the boat, my table was full of solo travellers so I made lots of friends from around the world. The view from the boat of Ha Long Bay didn’t disappoint. Just as anytime I’ve eaten in Vietnam the food was fantastic and plenty of it. The boat staff were really nice and people couldn’t do enough for us. 3 for 2 on cocktails was a steal! I definitely recommend this tour and especially Phong. *A note for tour operators is the beach was way too crowded (and on a Wednesday) another place to dock would be preferred.

Recommending this trip. Our guide Phong was very helpful and knowledgeable. They accommodated for gluten free food, and contacted us the day before to make sure everything was clear for the trip (pick-up address, food, day plan etc.).
They also had an optional speed boat experience, which we can recommend (extra charge, but worth it).

The cruise was amazing, food was brilliant. A buffet with loads of options. All the viewpoints were great and included swimming, kayaking, caves and hiking. Very friendly staff, in particular our tour guide, Ken, who made us feel welcomed the whole day and was full of energy.

This was a very over crowded tour and lots of people, over 30 in our bus and many other boats! Nevertheless, we had a long drive on the bus and stopped a few times. The oyster and pearl shops en route was totally unnecessary as we were quite close to the port. Another irritant, we couldn't take water on the boat (plastic) and we had to buy all our drinks, non alcoholic beverages, as it was not included in the lunch package. We also had to ask the tour guide for water on the bus back to Hanoi, that was really warm. Overall, a beautiful place but over tourism is making it an unpleasant experience! Paddle boats (kayaking) were bumping into each other, very unsafe!

Great excursion outside of the city. Really fun activities! The trip was long but really enjoyable. I met numerous women who were also traveling solo. We had a great day together.
