Visit Chichén Itzá, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Ek Balam, and swim in a cenote in one day!

You will be one of the first visitors of the day to explore Ek Balam, probably one of the most important places in the Tlalol kingdom. Climb the pyramids to have a panoramic view of the Mayan jungle. After knowing all the secrets of this archeological site, you’ll have free time to explore on your own.

Visit one of the seven wonders of the modern world Chichen. With knowledge of archeology and Mayan culture, it will be easy for you to imagine how the Mayans once inhabited this city. As we stroll through the well-preserved ruins we will tell you about Mayan mythology, philosophy, and cosmology, to gain a deep understanding of the meaning behind the stone sculptures and platforms.

Then we are ready to taste a fantastic Mexican buffet lunch. Have a break in the Cenote Chichi Kan and get over the heat with a refreshing swim right next to its waterfall.

Beto and Jose were a great team. You couldn’t ask more from Beto regarding knowledge of the area, he was vey informative which allowed me to enjoy the site in a broader way. I would highly recommend.

Great visit to Chichen Itsa, super early pick up very worthwhile as was less busy when we arrived mid morning, and also not at peak temperature. Our guide was excellent and gave a much more tailored and thoughtful tour rather than gimmicky rubbish I could hear from other tours.

Bus driver (Jose I think) was always ready and waiting outside for us which in 35 degree heat being able to get straight on air conditioner mini bus was a real plus point

Ek Balam spectacular also, and cenote good to cool of in although was very busy there. Food there was fine, nothing special but as advertised really.

Guide collects extra tourist/entry fees at start so on our tour we weren’t landed with anything unexpectedly.

Had a great day, thanks

Amigo Tours cancelled this tour a day prior to departure and gave us some alternatives which did not work out for us.

Guess it is a not a popular /revenue making trip for them.

Our tour guide was amazing. Very patient and knowledgeable! Exhausting day, but he remained calm throughout.

Tomas and Roberto were awesome. Roberto's driving was great and we felt very comfortable on our long journey with him at the wheel. Tomas was super knowledgeable about all the places we visited and had answers to all the questions we had. Having a guide made our experience so much better. We had an awesome day. Just prepare for it to be a long one. Starting at 4:30am was a little rough but worth it to beat all the crowds to the different stops. Highly recommend!

Our tour guide Manuel Tequila was great! He picked us up at our hotel on time along with the driver and was great at communicating our itinerary throughout the day. He was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of information when we were at both sites. We opted for the private tour which gave us more flexibility to be on our own schedule; and our group of four had the entire van to ourselves which was wonderful for air conditioning breaks between sites. Chichén Itzá was breaktaking, but Ek Balam feels equally so without the crowds, and they still allow you to climb the structures there which is pretty cool. The cenote and buffet lunch was also a great experience, definitely recommend after a day in the sun. Will definitely book with Amigo tours again!

Many thanks to "Sexy" Marcela. Very good time planning, lots of funny comments, great help with photos. Would be glad to join any other program run by her, recommend to everyone <3

The only thing to improve is probably the choice of the lunch place. I can compare it with another similar location which was definitely better in the food quality and selection.

Great experience with Guide Ivan. He demonstrated a lot of knowledge on the subject. The part I really liked was the explanation of the Mayan numerical system. The script was very good and well organized.

Juan and Ivan were awesome! A great set of experiences all packed into one day. There wasn't as much time as I would've liked for all the activities but the schedule is tight to fit everything in so expect a few delays to be normal...
