Extremely interesting tour! We have done a number of tours in New Orleans, and this one was near the top of the list. Graham was very knowledgeable, and did a great job of myth busting or some commonly mis-told pieces of the city’s history.

Great tour. Our guide Graham was super knowledgeable, funny, and cared deeply for the subject matter. It was a great way to get a ton of NOLAs history packed into a short amount of time. For anyone looking to understand the early history of NOLA would highly recommend.

Our tour guide did a great job giving us a non history book version of the history of Nola. Despite the rain and walking he was considerate of us having a place to sit as well as patient with questions and honest about areas where he was not knowledgeable. Overall it was a good experience for an early stage history tour. With a bit more experience and formalities I know this tour has potential to be even better! Thank you!

The tour was extremely interesting and full of detail without feeling dry - the way Graham presented the history of New Orleans made it feel like I was in a class I enjoyed taught by a professor who obviously knew his stuff. This was one of my favorite parts of my short trip to the city. I didn’t know much about the history before I went and it made my time there much more profound. I really appreciated Graham’s attention to certain details such as talking about the major contributions of enslaved peoples and women to the city. The tour was about 2 hours but there were plenty of opportunities to sit and listen and we didn’t walk very far in total, so if you don’t want to walk too much or have someone with you who can’t, I still think this would be worth it.

Graham was extremely knowledgeable and provided a deep-dive of the city’s first 100 years. This gave us a much fuller appreciation for the city’s culture and history. I appreciated that he presented a true, well-researched story of the city.
