Discover the wonders of ancient Pompeii and the majesty of Mount Vesuvius on this combined full-day guided tour from Naples.

We went as a family with friends. We had such a great time. It was hot at the end of June during the Pompeii tour but it was very interesting. The wine tasting had a wonderful meal and amazing balsamic vinegar. There were great tour guides, Monica and Giuseppe and Salvatore were very fun!! They played songs all the way home.

Aldo was amazing! We spent the afternoon with him driving on our mount vesuvius tour. He was cheerful, polite and went above and beyond to take care of us. he even took a picture for me! I couldnt ask for a better tour!

The tour with Serena and Amedeo was fantastic. They were friendly and caring about everything from the first to the last minute. The guided tour in Pompeji with Liliana was one of the best we ever had. As bad weather conditions did not allow to visit the Vesuv, Serena & Amedeo took us to a very vivid and historically interesting tour through Naples and we got a deeper inside in the city that we would not be able to discover by ourselves. Thank you to both of you for this wonderful day.

I would give this operator a zero if possible.
We booked the VIP tour as we prefer smaller groups. I was contacted on Tuesday 15th August to be informed of a landslide and that the tour to Mount Vesuvius the following day would not be possible. They could place us on a Pompeii tour, but not a small group and possibly up to 30+ people.
We checked with the Park who confirmed we could have attended and note other tour operators also attended and received 5 star reviews for the Pompeii and Vesuvius trip completed on the same day we had booked - 16th August.
To suggest the trip could not go ahead due to a landslide would therefore seem to be a lie and believe it is more likely Napoli City Vision had not sold enough tickets for our tour and simply tried to fob us off.
The tour itinerary was changed AFTER the cancellation period. I did not wish to attend the proposed revised tour and rebooked with World Tours for the same trip a few days later and they were excellent. I therefore require a full refund. So far, the operator has offered a partial refund and will not respond to emails.
Avoid Napoli City Vision like the plaque!

We took a tour to see Pompeii and vesov. Aldo the guide was very warm, explained so many interesting things and before he dropped us back at the hotel gave us a small tour of Naples. we enjoyed it. A lot

What a great day - and Riccardo really is a star!
We decided to take a private tour, as we were travelling with 3 kids, and did want to avoid queuing up etc. Riccardo picked us up, telling us that he was our driver for the day. In fact, he was so much more: He was a perfect guide, explaining us the sights and what not to miss, he organized our day, was extremely helpful, and we really enjoyed his knowledge as much as his humour.
When we got to the parking lot on Mount Vesuvius, where the short hike starts, it began to rain, the paths closed - Riccardo immediately thought about how to make up for our "loss", and added an extra tour to Ercolano.
What a great experience that was, so that we could see both the cities hit by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79AD.
Everything was perfect - organisation, sufficient time in Pompeii and Ercolano, great guide in Pompeii, good audio guided tour in Ercolano -and again we cannot praise Riccardo enough who is so much more than just a driver!

The tour was great! I received a text message the night before with some additional info, the drivers were very friendly and everything was taken care of. On the way back our driver Aldo took us to do an extra tour to some special locations.
