I did the tour with Lizbeth and it was amazing! She made sure enough time was spent at many restaurants around the Candelaria. I'm really glad it was at this historic district with many options so we could pick and choose what to get. I had chocolate con queso, buñuelos, ajiaco santafereño, arepas, and fruits! It was a good amount! She also explained everything about the city and it's history. Overall it was a good introduction to Bogotá.

We had a wonderful time touring Candelaria and learning about traditional Colombian foods. Fruits, coffee, and many other local specialities tempted our taste buds. This was also a great way to tour the old town with a local. Highly recommended.

The tour was so much fun! It was a feast of local specialties and a great walking tour of the La Candelaria neighborhood. Our guide Jose was tremendous. He found the best places to try more different foods than we could eat and they were all great. Highly recommend Jose and the tour.

This was a nice food tour to get you some knowledge on the various fruits of the region, trials of some Colombian coffee, and some Colombian staples from Bogota. We got to try Avena which is an oat drink, and have traditional arepas Bogota style. Our tour guide, Sergio, was awesome!! We really enjoyed his company, his humor, his knowledge, and his willingness to work with our group.

Sergio was the perfect guide for the tour with his superb knowledge of the region, the city, the culture and the food. He met us at our hotel and then we explored the area around La Candelaria taking in lots of little places for food and drink. He also gave us plenty of useful tips for the rest of our trip.

I had the most fantastic experience on the culinary tour in La Candelaria, Bogota, hosted by the wonderful Dave. From start to finish, this tour was a delightful exploration of Colombia's rich culinary heritage, and Dave's passion and knowledge made it truly exceptional.
The tour began with a captivating discussion about coffee, a beverage that is deeply embedded in Colombian culture. Dave's insights into the coffee-making process, from bean to brew, were not only informative but also incredibly engaging. I gained a newfound appreciation for the art of coffee production.
As we continued our culinary adventure, Dave introduced us to a colorful array of exotic fruits, some of which I had never seen before. He provided fascinating details about their origins, flavors, and culinary uses. Tasting these fruits was a sensory delight, and I couldn't help but be impressed by Dave's expertise in this realm.
And, to top it all off, Dave's enthusiasm for traditional Colombian games, like Tejo and Rana, added an unexpected layer of fun and camaraderie to the experience. These games provided a lively and enjoyable way to bond with fellow participants, capping off the tour on a high note.
