I had an absolute blast and I give a Big thanks to my tour guide Diego. He made sure I felt Safe the entire tour and kept checking that I am confortable. He met me on time and was very friendly. He is very knowlegable of the history of Bogota and Guatalupe and Monserrate. This was my first tour with Gran Colombia Tours and the whole process was very smooth. Def recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The tour guide, Angel, is completely fluent in English, was a super nice guy, and stayed with you the entire day (pick-up/drop-off and ride). The horse facility is surprisingly only 40 minutes from downtown Bogota. Jesus, the horse guide, was also very nice and friendly. The property is massive and set high in the mountains where you have tremendous views of the area from above.

Hello, so we did the horseback riding tour yesterday and it was beautiful. However, the description said a snack was included and that was false. We went to the first stop and went to get on the horses and I was still expecting food, but none ever came so by the time we got to the end of the horseback ride I was dying. So we had to stop and get food at one of the food stands at the top of the mountain. Other than that it was amazing. But I don’t think you guys should advertise that you offer food if you don’t because that is kind of a key issue especially for a six hour excursion. If no snack was going to be given to us, he should’ve said some thing, and then I would’ve bought some food at our first stop from one of the vendors.

Excellent trip that definitely tested me. My girls had a great time and are ready to go again! The trip guide was knowledgeable and patient with us. I would recommend this trip to other horse enthusiasts.

We did not get to do the horse-riding trip because there was a landslide. We were fortunate to change it for another trip which the tour company was willing to do and was also given a refund.
Jose the tour guide was very friendly and accommodative.
Hats off to Viator.

The horseback ride was a great was to reach the top of Monserrate. Can be a littke nerve racking on some of the steep areas but my horse showed great skill.
My guide and translator - Naty - was fantastic. Super nice and friendly.

Amazing experience on the most sure-footed of horses. Great views over the countryside. We passed farms and rode through forest. We also met the mule train that supplies the restaurants behind Monserrate. Luis was a friendly, knowledgeable guide.

The guide Camila was 100% fluent in English and had very deep knowledge of Colombia's history and environment.
My horse was a brave lady and got us through the most difficult, rocky paths 💪
I confirm what others have written: this is not for beginners at horseriding. But experienced riders should jump on the opportunity.

I loved this excursion. The day began with short visit to the church at Guadalupe. From there we took a short drive and grabbed a light breakfast by the side of the road where we met the horses. The ride started out along country roads through farmland. About 1/3 of the way, the ride shifted to an exhilarating trail ride. We finished at Monserrate on a perfect Sunday with the parties in full swing (Domingo is a big day at Monserrate). It was all a blast. Our guides Diego and Francisco were very nice, and importantly, attentive. I have ridden on trails for my entire life and felt engaged the whole time. My friend had only ridden a couple of times ever and had an awesome time.
This is no pony ride. The trails are steep, rocky and wet. The horses are sure footed and confident. The views are incredible throughout.
