Quality time with my son and 4 grandkids enjoying the raw beauty of Yosemite.. a challenging but rewarding hike for a 70 year old. It’s one of 5 trips planned with my g-kids to help them appreciate our national p as red and our responsibility to continue to take care of these treasures in their future

The best decision of our trip was hire a guide. The hike was amazing and John was so knowledgeable of the park and took us to the best views. I can say (with 100% certainty) our hike would not nearly have been as good without a guide.

Absolutely wonderful experience with our guide John. Very good communication prior to our Yosemite guided tour.
John was so friendly and incredibly knowledgable about all aspects of the park.

We were a day late getting to the park and had to drive in the day of our tour. John (owner) was so nice and accommodating, we couldn’t be more grateful. Then, to send us out with the best guide in Yosemite was almost too much. David was phenomenal—informed, kind, and considerate. He made the experience so memorable. Love the team at YExplore!!

We had David for our guide. He is an interesting young guy who was knowledgeable and very pleasant and tailored the hiking that we wanted to the level that we wanted. While we chose not to have significant elevation, changes, and back country experience, we still managed over 12 miles, and really enjoyed the beauty of our surroundings. We highly recommend this to our group as it was individualized, very personal, and very pleasant.

Our guide Josh was excellent! He had great knowledge of the history, geology, flora and fauna of Yosemite. He also offered expert insight into the climbing community. Our hike was well matched to our ability and we learned a lot while observing many amazing landmarks.

Our Guide David was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He knew every mountain peak, dome and valley. He shared his knowledge about all vegetation and wildlife along our route. It made our hike so much more enjoyable. The only negative would be I was hoping for a little more off the beaten path of regular tourists
