This is a must-do wine-tasting tour you should do on your first day in Chania.
We meet at Anassa Boutique Hotel and Cafe on the Old Venetian Harbor. Here you’ll learn a bit about wine tasting while sipping 2 wines with a direct view of the lighthouse. A small snack accompanies the wines. Your guide will point out our favorite spots for lunch, dinner, wine and cocktails along the harbor.
Kritamon Wine Bar & Restaurant is our next stop where you’ll taste 2 more wines with a snack. You’ll be enchanted by the small little streets behind the harbor, or as we call them “ta stenakia.”
Next, we’ll walk to Splantzia Square, a neighborhood with tremendous historical significance. Two more Cretan wines are sampled with a small snack paired with it.
Last stop is at a local wine shop to taste one last wine, a sweet dessert wine made in the ancient liasto method. Here you can shop for any wines you liked throughout the wine tasting tour.

Awesome few hours exploring Chania's old town trying delicious wines and incredible nibbles. Our host, Anastasia, was fantastic, extremely knowledgeable and brilliant fun. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this experience to anyone with even a passing interest in wine. We certainly leaned tons about local Cretan wine. So, to summarise. Absolutely brilliant!!

What an experience and a total blast.
We met Anastasia at the start of the tour and it’s safe to say we became great pals by the end of it.
She’s fun, welcoming and has amazing knowledge of Cretan wine. The food, the wine, the places, views and company were all perfect and can’t recommend highly enough.
If you like your wines and want to do something a bit different on your holiday then this is a must do, you will not be disappointed

We had an amazing time! Anna Maria was very nice and the wines we had were so tasteful. When we go back to Crete, we will book another tour!

We loved our wine tour with Anastasia. She was so friendly and knowledgeable. We didn’t just learn about the wine but she told us all about the history of the island. We really enjoyed the different snacks we had with the wine. Even when there was a little hiccup when the wine shop was closed, she found an alternative shop straight away and the only problem now is getting everything we brought back on the plane. We have a new appreciation for how to drink and enjoy wines. Thank you so much. Everyone got this tour booked!

Great wine tour with a lovely host. Insightful experience and tailored really well to Greek wines and food pairings. Anastasia (host) also shared an amazing list of recommended restaurants and bars that helped the rest of our stay
