Fabian our guide was wonderful. Amazing way to see many of the sights in Marseille, and then south to the calanque for picnic and swimming. Beautiful views, electric bikes worked perfectly. Highly recommend

What a super adventure! E-bikes make the trip doable, but you need a base level of fitness to do it comfortably. Be prepared to ride with car traffic. our guide prepared us for each segment of the journey, letting us know about the turns and lights. We stopped several to learn about the area and to explore. Lunch in the Calanques was a delicious sandwich (I highly recommend pans bagnat if you can get it) overlooking the pristine water. I enjoyed learning about the history and natural resources of this incredible place.

We did the Calanques e-bike bike tour with Cindy. Bikes were comfortable and worked well. Cindy was very professional in her approach and kept everyone safe (4 on our tour). The riding was about 50% bike track and 50% road. Cindy checked in on our preference for picnic or restaurant lunch. We had an overcast day so we chose lunch at a fish restaurant Chez Paul in Les Goudes. We had an ice cream stop on the way back. Overall an excellent day. Basic biking skills required. Excellent day out, a lovely experience thanks to Cindy.

So long as you know how to ride a bicycle, this is a fun experience for you! The e-bikes were so easy to operate and fabulous for getting up any hills, but remember you still need to pedal! I am 70 years and ride a bike at home, so this was easy for me. Yeah, you have to ride in traffic, but I did not find this intimidating, Alex our guide, lead us through it with no problems. It was wonderful to get out of the city and follow the coast road, with interesting stops along the way. I would highly recommend doing this!

We really enjoyed our day out on this trip (two adults and a bike mad 16 year old) We were collected from our cruise ship as advised and taken to the bike location. It was our first tine on e-bikes and their use was carefully explained. In fact it’s very easy and we soon got used to them. Eva was our guide for the day and she was full of stories and made an excellent job of looking after us all. We thoroughly recommend this trip off a cruise ship like us, or as part of a stay in Marseilles. It’s well organised and run, and it’s a lovely ride too. Thanks to all the team for making our day so memorable.

WOW! We had SO much fun on this trip. I’d recommend this be at least your third time on an e bike because you will be riding in traffic for some of it. I recommend that if this is intimidating to you, you book on a weekday when tourist traffic may be lighter. We didn’t have too much trouble on a Thursday morning.
Our guide, Lauren, was incredibly knowledgeable about everything Marseille and genuinely enjoyed showing us everything about his home town and telling stories of growing up there. Eating to go sandwiches on the rocks in the Calanques was perfect! Honestly it’s one of the easiest “one stop shop” tours to see almost everything Marseille. I can’t believe how much ground we covered.
The bikes were in great shape and the batteries were so strong that you can have the pedal assist on the whole time and never needed to exert yourself too much. It’s really more the skill to make sure you can ride through people/ traffic/ differing terrain that I recommend this not be your first e bike experience.

This was a fun and beautiful way to spend the morning. The scenery was incredible and having this tour introduced us to this area of Marseille that we would have likely otherwise missed, and would have deeply regretted.
Our guide was thoughtful, patient, and very knowledgeable, operating our tour fluently in both French and English.
We were glad that we were not beginner cyclists as you do cover rough and stony paths going both up and down hill. The tour takes you through open and rocky areas of the park along the sea, and also into the forest and through parts of the city so you do really get to see it all. I highly recommend it - worth every penny!

Cindy was an excellent guide. We enjoyed the scenery and the beauty of the coastline and National Park. Riding e-bikes made the entire experience wonderful as there are very steep hills.
