This was a great tour and a wonderful snapshot of the city by bike: Saying that, This is not for the faint of heart - I "Assumed" it would be a nice leisurely ride on an electric bike, Great Day? It was, It was - Just understand, there were a couple of hills UP & DOWN and one or two sharp turns - A couple of times I just got off the bike and walked my bike Up or Down said hills and turns (The bike is a bit on the hefty side) Saying that, I'd do this tour again. The staff was great, Pick up & Drop off at the Cruise port was prompt.

Not a pleasant experience. Almost hit by motorbikes, cars and buses. Felt unsafe during most of the biking Marseille is not a good town to bike in,

A 5 star tour!!
Cindy was a GREAT guide. She was able to provide as safe and environment as possible when biking around town, gave us a ton of information, and even took pictures of couples throughout our time together.
This experience was different than any other excursion we did because it made us feel like we were part of the town rather than visitors touring the city. This was also our first time on e-bikes, and loved how easy it was to get used to the functionality.
You'll need to have patience while at the cruise terminal if you're getting picked up as there's a limited number of people going with in each van, and the traffic between the terminal and starting poin can delay the start of your tour. (This was the only drawback we saw.)
We decided not to take their transportation back to the terminal so we could spend more time walking around the old port area to have lunch & Pastis. Finding the free shuttle proved harder than explained, but we took a taxi back to the ship for a nominal cost.
We highly recommend this trip if you want to be immersed in this ancient city.

Our guide (Louis?) Had loads of information and set a great pace. The bike was very comfortable and I could happily have spent another hour or 2 exploring Marseille. Highly recommend

After making the reservation, it was cancelled by Fada Bikes. Two days later, I still didn’t get my money back….. I asked several times, now they say it is because of get your guide takes several days. If so, I should have received at least an email confirming the cancellation. As I made the reservation on the site of fada bikes (and received only mails from them regarding the order and a reminder), this is nonsens.
Don’t book a tour! Baja Bikes is the same company by the way. No other options in Marseille

We signed up for MSC cruise for sightseeing purposes at the ports of call. 9:15 meeting time and the tour description said we would be picked up at the ferry port with our name card.
The night before the tour, I was informed that the time would be changed to 9:45. I agreed.
At 9:45 AM that morning, no one was there. we waited until 10:00 AM. As I thought, no one showed up. I requested a cancellation and refund of the tour as a NO SHOW.
Then I received a call from the tour company saying that they were on their way and I should wait until 10:45. They persistently contacted me asking me not to cancel because they were going now, but I refused. Still no refund.
I think the electric bike tour itself is a good one, as the city has many hills. But be careful with this tour plan. I wasted almost 2 hours because of this exchange. Please be careful everyone!
