Fun and different experience - Loved afternoon tea (treats were delicious), the music was great (you should always listen to the Proclaimers when visiting Edinburgh), a suggestion would be to lower the price a hair for people who don't drink OR offer a free soda in place of the prosecco, but other than that we enjoyed our trip with Red Bus Bistro!

Had a wonderful experience on Friday. 28 June. Staff were very friendly, pleasant and good entertainment. Afternoon tea was off a good standard. Sandwiches cakes scone all fresh and well presented. Cocktails were well made and presented. Definitely worth a try if your going to Edinburgh. Round trip approximately 90 minutes.

Sounded like a solid 90 min tour but it was a ripoff. Food was soggy sandwiches. Tea was bad. Narrator you couldn’t understand. Skip it or get tea at a local hotel / tea room. Nothing “Scottish” about any of this. Just terrible.

Great tour, high tea exceptional , staff very friendly 👌 only downfall was that there were very attentive to the large hen party group and the rest of the people were not given much attention. We sat for ages with no drink even though we had booked the bronze package( prosecco included ) and when one of our parties drink fell over they weren't asked if the would like a replacement

A good experience driving around Edinburgh on a classic Routemaster bus. A fair selection of sandwiches, scones & cakes, along with Prosecco & tea or coffee. All accompanied by classic tunes.
Service was friendly.

We left Glasgow bus station at 09.45 to get the tour in Edinburgh for 12.00 we were caught up in a massive traffic jam so I called the red bus people to explain our issue (I know it wasn’t their fault) They said they could maybe hold up the bus for 10 mins but no more I said ok I will keep in contact I called again to update them a 11.45 to say we were nearer I was told that it was now a bit late and the traffic wardens would maybe move them on but we needed to see when we got there.
I then thought if we couldn’t make it from Princess St to St Andrews square maybe we could pick the bus up somewhere else I kept ringing the office but there was no reply.
As we got off the bus in Princess street we could see the Bistro bus on the other side of the road unfortunately the lights were all on green so we couldn’t catch the bus I continued ringing the office till 12.37 no reply

I had asked if we could rearrange it for another day unless I had insurance the answer was no as it was bought for a gift

My issue is if there is only one tour a day at 12.00 why would no one answer a phone at this crucial time if anyone needed them.

Now I know this wasn’t their fault we didn’t expect it to take 2.5 hours to get from Glasgow to Edinburgh but I feel as a good business they could have helped and told us the route we could have picked it up at the castle.
They could have helped us a bit more this gift was almost a £100

We have lots of big events coming up this year and our thoughts were if we enjoyed it we would give this as gifts plus it’s keeping a small business going

However I would not do this now and certainly wouldn’t recommend them

Best 90 minutes in a long time. A great tour, good food selection and a glass of fizz as you take in the great Edinburgh scenery. The upstairs host was excellent, great patter and kept the tour interesting. Music played was excellent, starting off with Summer Holiday was inspiring and I'm sure relaxed everyone after a great chuckle😂
Highly recommended and would go again.

Afternoon tea with prosecco was a very entertaining and enjoyable way to pass the afternoon in Edinburgh. The staff on the bus were very attentive and provided good humerous commentary at various points along the tour. Music selection very appropriate.
