Tour guide, Antonio, very knowledgeable about the area, history of Corleone and other infamous mafia/cosa nostra families. He picked us up from hotel on time with a comfortable van. The drive had beautiful scenery and the small town (9,000 population) had charming old and new sections. Tour of old home interesting led by Michelangelo with historical info on home and area. Then wonderful lunch at Russo Pastificio with homemade pasta by “grandma.” Quick stop at treasured cathedral, Monreale Duomo. The tour made for a relaxing and interesting day thanks to Antonio and his knowledge.

We had the most wonderful tour of Corleone from Umberto. He went out of his way to ask the locals about my husband’s family heritage that originated from there. We had a very informative and interesting tour of the Godfathers house and then an amazing lunch at a local restaurant. I would highly recommend this tour, worth every penny!!

Umberto was a terrific guide. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the mafia and the town of Corleone. I loved exploring the Godfather’s House. He also took me to local stores where I sampled cheese and purchased fruits. The stop at Monreale was just as terrific. Umberto always pointed out things I should make sure I see. He kindly stopped at any good sites for photo opportunities. He’s the best and so was this tour.

This excursion was well worth the cost because of the personalized service received. Our tour guide, Roberto, did an excellent of driving us through the beautiful countryside of Palermo and the mountains surrounding the city of Corleone, while giving us a history of the mafia in relation to the surrounding areas. Roberto parked as close as possible to the Mafia Museum because he knew I had difficulty walking and doing steps. It was a short walk to the museum where we were welcomed by the owner of the mafia house museum and he gave us a most colorful and informative tour of the museum/house room by room. The house did not appear that big from the outside but it was quite spacious and contained many interesting rooms filled with artifacts and photos from the Corleone family that lived there in the past. Afterwards we walked to the center of the village and had lunch, then were off to see the church and village of Monreale Duomo. After viewing the church we had free time to explore the shops and village around the church and get a delicious gelato. Afterwards, Roberto took us back to Palermo. Before dropping us off at our hotel he was kind enough to show us the meeting place for our next excursion as well as good shopping areas before dropping us off at our hotel. Roberto also stopped along the way during our tour and gave us ample time take pictures of the beautiful scenery and he took pictures with us in them.

Our driver, Umberto, was great! I'd give him a solid 5 star!! He was prompt and a very safe driver. He gave us so much interesting info and very pleasant. My husband's ancestors came from Corleone, and Umberto took us to City Hall for research. What a great experience!
We were able to identify the house and church of the family. The tour of the Godfather museum was interesting and fun but could be done in half the time.

The Tour was wonderful, Our tour guide Umberto was fantastic, he had so much knowledge of Sicily and all the surrounding areas. We started our drive to Corleone which flew by with all the stories Umberto shared. He could answer any questions we had for him. Once we arrived in Corleone we met up with other tourists from Umberto’s brother’s tour who joined us on the walk to the museum. Once we arrived we were greeted by Michelangelo and his son. Who owned the house. The tour was fantastic and very informative and interesting. After the museum Umberto took us to Monreale showing us where to go and the best places to eat! Once the day was finished he took us back to Palermo and told us where to go. The tour was fantastic and we would recommend to anyone!!

Umberto treated us to a special day in rural Sicily, exploring the history of the Mafia in Corleone and visiting one of the most special churches in Europe at his home town of Monreale. Umberto is a warm and very congenial host with a treasure of local knowledge and history which he dispenses with much charm and generosity. Highly recommended.

We went on a private tour to Corleone. Our family had Umberto while my sister’s had Umberto’s brother. They were on time with clear instructions via whatsapp. It was a wonderful and fun day. Umberto was very knowledgeable and walked with us to destinations and places where locals go. Kids were very entertained with the mafia house. If you have plans to go in other towns like Cefalu and Monreale, it’s best you arrange with them as well. They can do all instead of doing different tour companies.
