I went on this tour with my mom (61) and youngest brother (16) and all 3 of us had a great time. My brother doesn't eat pork, but the guide was able to easily adjust for that. Every stop was delicious. We were all bursting by the end. And the walking in between was incredibly manageable. I was surprised that we were given a drink at every savory stop. That doesn't typically happen in other food tours I've been on. So many aguas frescas! And she emailed us the list of everywhere we went and what we had immediately following, which was great! The history tidbits about the food and the neighborhood was the icing on the cake. Highly recommend!

Let me start by saying that the guides were sweet and did a nice job in getting us from place to place. And if you have never had Mexican food before, this would probably be a great tour. But if you HAVE had tacos, churros and ice cream, you’ll be dissapointed. Because that’s all it was. The schedule of food was chilaquiles, tacos, tacos, tacos, ice cream and churros. We would have definitely been better off picking a nice restaurant and ordering a bunch of things off the menu and having the waiter walk us through all of them.
I’m not trying to be mean or spiteful. Just truthful so others don’t find themselves out a couple hundred dollars expecting something more.

Marcella and her friend in training were great! We visited 7 restaurants we most likely would not have tried during our stay in Polanco, and every one of them were amazing. Good pacing, we were full by the end of the tour. Would definitely recommend!

This is a good food experience for those who would like to taste different flavors of Mexico. There was an interesting contrast between some upscale restaurants, and some sidewalk food vendors.
Our hostess was delightful, and quite informative.
All was delicious.
There is a lot of food, so plan to come hungry and pace yourself.

We took the Polanco Food Tour with Viri through Viator. Viri was awesome - we wound up visiting seven different restaurants, all with different but delicious approaches to Mexican food. It was actually very nice to have short walks in between each restaurant, both because it gave us a chance to regain our appetites and because we had a chance to just chat about anything and everything. Viri is not just a great guide but also a chef herself, so we got an insider’s thoughts on the food scene in CDMX. Loved the whole experience and highly recommend!
