Our tour guide Klinis Nikos was outstanding! The places he took us were lovely. His knowledge of the history of Crete and his personality made our day most memorable. We met warm hearted tavern owners who’s hospitality added such a lovely and unanticipated hour to our day.

There are no words to express yesterday’s day. A private boat tour arranged by Snami Travel where driver Dimitrios took care of our transport by road and captain Aggelos of Creta Luxury Cruises by sea. Diving off the yacht at sweet water beach, Domata, Agios Pablo’s, Marmara, Loutro, Balos…one even more beautiful than the other. Due to the professionalism and personality of captain Aggelos the atmosphere aboard the fast Axopar was amazing while sailing from Sfakia to Chania , even at times when the wind hit the waves.

We visited East Crete with our amazing tour guide Alexander, who is not only engaging, knowledgeable, hilarious and kind, but also seems to know just about everybody in Crete! He brought us to visit charming villages where we got to enjoy Greek coffee and interact with the locals. He also brought us on a little walk through a forest area and showed us different herbs and plants, and how they are used in Cretan life. We stopped at beautiful sites such as the Sarakinas gorge and had photo opportunities throughout of the magnificent Crete landscape of mountains, beaches and seas. We really appreciated having Alexander with us to show us aspects of Crete we might not have discovered on our own. Highly recommended!

Ioannis recommended this trip for us. Alexander was our guide for the day. He has a passion for it. If you do no want to worry about anything and visit beautifull spots then this is the trip for you. We had lunch on a spot which we never would have found on our own. Eating truly local food with locals makes us want to return to Crete. Alexander can answer any you have about Crete. We had a great day.

Tour guide, Alexander, was full of knowledge and gave us information about the island over 9 hours. We went from our hotel to the top of Crete through villages, saw a beautiful gorge and monastery. Swam in the sea, drank coffee, and ate at a local village tavern where you watched the food being prepared. Excellent tour. Note there is no breakfast, as mentioned on Viator site, and you pay for your own coffee and meal at the tavern. Only downside is we wished we could have stayed long enough to do another day long tour with this guide. Thank you!
