This eight hour tour will include a visit to Stirling Castle which was first mentioned around 1100. This Castle was fought over and changed hands frequently.
We will then visit the famous site of The Battle of Banockburn, where Robert the Bruce and Edward II changed the path of Scotland forever.
After Banockburn it's on to visit the world famous Wallace Monument which overlooks the scene of Scotland's victory at the Battle of Stirling Bridge. For 150 years this attraction has been the highlight of many visitors to Scotland.
For all you whisky lovers we can also visit the world famous Deanston Distillery home of the famous 18 year old single malt.

Kevin was an excellent tour guide, probably enhanced by being a native.
We had a wonderful day visiting Stirling Castle, the Wallace Monument and some extra stops Kevin suggested, such as an overview of the city as we left Edinburgh, that i'm so glad we added to the day. he really knows so much of the history of the area and also knows the little stops, like the delicious lunch he suggested at the Distillery and he was even kind enough to lead us to an inexpensive store to purchase another suitcase to take home all our souvenirs, gathered during our stay.
i would highly recommend Kevin as THE PERSON to guide you through all the highlights of Scotland. a comfortable vehicle and he had a little basket of waters and snacks for us to enjoy throughout the day. Just Perfect. i hope we get to return soon to visit other areas with Kevin
