The movie was interesting and informative. I have seen many related documentaries so much of the movie was similar to my exposure but my kids who did not had a great experience seeing it for the first time. We did like the 4d parts

The movie was awesome and my favorite part. The museum was great and very large, overwhelming. Wish I had more time. Worth going back for another visit.

We flew to New Orleans specifically to visit this museum and it did not disappoint. The dog tag experience was very engaging. There is a lot to see and we ended up spending a day and a half at the museum. The D Day and Road to Berlin and Germany exhibits are amazing and we spent the most time there. The Beyond Boundaries movie is worth the money and helps set the stage for the exhibits you are going to see. If you can, try to get an early viewing time. The museum can get quite cold so bring a light jacket, even in the summer. The earlier you go in the day the more chance you will have to view the exhibits without tons of other people. If you are short on time The Boeing center had the least artifacts and information to view and we spent the least time in this exhibit. When you get your tickets you are given a clip to wear that lets you travel between the buildings. You can leave and eat lunch off site and then return the same day. We ate onsite at the soda shop and it was an enjoyable meal. There are 4 total gift shops all with slightly different items. If you have time brush up on the Higgins Boat and the USS Tang ahead of time as both of these are displayed in the museum. Online are over one hundred oral histories which is fabulous as you will never have time to listen to everything in a short trip.

This is a must-go attraction. The 4D film was surprisingly good. You need to set aside at least 3 hrs here.

Very informative museum. We learned a lot. The movie was terrific. You could spend days there learning about the war.

We arrived at 1:45pm and wished we’d got there earlier. When the doors closed at 5pm we felt we could easily have spent another 2 hours there.

My husband and I started our museum experience with the 4D Beyond All Boundaries movie. Absolutely awesome! The movie was produced by Steven Spielberg and narrated by Tom Hanks. The rest of the visit was equally amazing and deeply moving! All volunteers and there were many, were very helpful.

Phenomenal campus and learning experience. Everyone should put this on their bucket list. Expect to spend at least 4 hrs. Must add the 4-D film with Tom Hanks. Very moving experience.

Not enough artifacts and too much emphasis on technology. I know that is attractive to younger people, but there was no modern technology then. It left us feeling detached. It seemed they tried to Hollywoodize the war and that time too much. It was also a confusing maze. There were volunteers to help guide you, but it would be better to have maps on the wall with a "You are here." Beyond All Boundaries was excellent. We couldn't make it to the sub experience because no where did they post that the last show is at 2:50 even though the museum closes at 5:00. I had four uncles that served in WW2 and was so looking forward to this, but just left feeling let down and not sure I saw everything. I am not sure how anyone gets the full story without feeling confused and lost. On a positive, the American Sector restaurant was tremendous! They and the Beyond All Boundaries movie are the only reasons I gave it a 2.

We purchased thru Viator vs Museum directly because it allowed us to make changes/cancel if needed. It was a very easy process, the only thing was when I was picking my day and time it made me to pick the movie time for both Beyond All Boundaries, and the Freedom Theatre experience. It turned out that the Freedom Theatre was not included in the package, it was puzzling, I double checked at the ticket counter and they had not idea and said my tickets did not have that included.
