Godfather vs Mafia Tour & Sicilian Light Lunch (Small Group)

Enjoyed our tour with Carlos who was very knowledgeable and spoke with clarity and passion. Even if you are not a Godfather fan, the trip to the villages in the hills was very scenic and the villages themselves were full of character and worth visiting.

Giovanni gave us an amazing experience. He taught us a great deal of local history and took excellent care of us. A member of our group has some mobility restrictions. He was so thoughtful. Wonderful experience all around. We also met a great group of folks. :)

This tour is a definite must for the Godfather movie buffs! So many interesting facts, beautiful scenery, and an endless amount of steps to walk!! Although I am not the Godfather buff, my husband is ;-) There were so many cool things to see in regards to the intricacies of where, when, and the thought process behind filming the Godfather trilogy. The day we took this tour, it was sweltering hot; however, from my understanding, it was not as hot as what the forecast predicted for the days to follow. With that being said, wear clothes based on the weather (hot, hotter, hottest temps), comfortable walking shoes/sneakers, carry water, small fan or face cloth to keep cool, and, last but not least, be prepared to walk/hike!

My only gripe was that the owner of the Bar Vitalle was not at all welcoming. It is understandable that the owner requires one to purchase something before being allowed to see the movie artifacts located inside of the bar. However, there was no need for him to be standing in the doorway with his arms crossed, similar to that of a bouncer. Aside from that minor hiccup, the tour was phenomenal!!!!

Our guide, Denise, was brilliant. So well informed. Just would've liked a bit more time to go in Bar Vitali.

Maybe advise that there is quite a lot of walking incase someone is not that able.

Excellent experience! Carlos had a wealth of very good information and we learned a ton while seeing beautiful places and learning everything we had hoped we would learn about the Godfather filming locations in Sicily. Would absolute recommend to any Godfather fanatic!

The whole experience was very good & Denise our guide very knowledgeable. It was a small group of people which made it more personal & the lunch was very nice & finished it off perfectly. I would recommend anyone to go on this tour.

Loved going to the two little towns and hearing all about the Godfather origins and history. Denise, our tour guide was welcoming and full of GF knowledge. We also loved the lunch of homemade pasta and more.
