Our guide, Vireak was very knowledgeable about the area and Cambodia in general. He also took photos for us and sent them on.
This was an easy level ride and we were actually out for 5hrs visiting local life, markets, basket making and a pottery business.
The bikes were easy to ride and looked brand new and they also supplied helmets. Most of the ride was on flat but bumpy dirt tracks through fields but there was some busy road work.
We had a great time, our legs didn't ache the next day even after 5hrs! We hope to do another one if we have time at our next stop.
Thanks Vireak, we had a great time.

We did the 1/2 day tour because we did not have more time in Siam Reap and we had great fun and absolutely liked this experience.
The tour is very well organised and we learned a lot about the living in the Cambodian countryside thanks to the great explanations of our guide, the super friendly Vong, who I would like to thank for his kindness and nice approach.
We absolutely recommend Butterfly Tours!!!

Great experience, with many explanations about local life. The bike ride is very pleasant between the rice fields, the villages, the meeting with the villagers. A moment of sharing around a very pleasant coconut at the end of the course. Vong and his team are adorable.

Run by local Cambodian students Butterfly Tours aims to promote eco-tourism, entrepreneurship in young people and to share the students’ insider knowledge of Cambodian history, geography and way of life. We’ve just spent a day with Vong who is in his second year at University. It was a joy and a privilege to spend a day in his company. The last part - visiting a temple so no photos- coincided with one almighty thunderstorm where we watched seminary Buddhist monks (can’t have been older than 14) sliding across the wet tiles in ever more elaborate and acrobatic skids #boyswillbeboys
Then we cycled back soaked to the bone! Top day out. @butterfly_tours

What a fantastic tour with a fantastic tour guide! Thank you Ratanan for your insight and easy-going nature. I learned a great deal and truly had a memorable experience. The tour did exactly what I love - got us away from the tourists to real, everyday life of local people. I got to try foods and see things I wouldn't have otherwise experienced.

However, one *but* for those interested in the tour to consider - it IS physically challenging to be on a bike in the heat all day. There were lots of breaks, so your not pedaling the whole time, but it was still physically strenuous so be ready for it.
