Skip the line private tour of the Colosseum and ancient Rome with hotel pick up

Our tour guide was very bad. She talked about herself for the first 30 minutes. We asked her repeatedly to go inside the Colosseum and she was very rude telling us she will decide when we go in. When we finally got inside she was giving us bizarre lectures on Jesus and prostitutes.
A total waste of money.

Our guide was absolutely wonderful. She was extremely knowledgeable. The lines were very long for the Colesium we were glad we did the skip the line option.
Take a bottle of water for each person (you can refill them up inside the forum). We easily drank 3-4 bottles each. And don't forget to put on sunscreen. Most of the tour is in 🌞

Best tour I’ve ever had. The tour guide was great, knowledgeable and funny. This my favorite tour ever and I’ve had tours of the coliseum before. Definitely do this tour. The tour guide also set up rides for us for everything. Absolutely fantastic. His knowledge of the arenas and surrounding areas was great.

It was a joy to have this tour with Ferdinando as our guide. His knowledge, passion and experience of working at dig sites allowed for a truly exceptional tour of the Colosseum and Ancient Rome.

This was an AMAZING experience. Our guide, Ferdinando, was knowledgable and friendly and we had a wonderful time. He was great about sharing cool facts with us, had images to show what various areas would have once looked like, answered our many questions and even showed us the site where he worked when getting his PhD! He was also great about helping accomodate me. I'm autistic and struggle with crowds, so while I wanted to see the Colosseum, I wasn't sure how well I'd handle it. At the start of the tour I mentioned that I have a hard time when stopped in really crowded areas. Ferdinando was wonderful about taking us into less crowded alcoves when talking to us and showing us different details around the Colosseum, which helped immensely and let me really enjoy the tour. When we eventually return to Rome, we are 100% going to book more tours with him. He was a wonderful guide and this tour was the highlight of our trip.
