-Start your journey from Sensoji temple. We will turn our step into the main spot in Asakusa, Senso-ji temple, exploring the Nakamise Street that has 300-year history and sample street food.

- After passing through Sensoji Temple, the most popular tourist attraction in Tokyo, you will experience the finest matcha green tea at a quiet Japanese tea house!

-Enjoy a local favorite, Monjya-yaki in the backstreets of Asakusa-
we'll stop by a favorite monjyayaki (a local dish made with seasoned flour and many other ingredients) place in the backstreets of Asakusa, along Hoppy Street. There, your guide will instruct you on how to cook monjayaki, and you can enjoy eating it with everyone else in the group tour.

This was a fantastic tour that was tailored to suit! The matcha making was the highlight and an experience that I won't soon forget. Making okonomiyaki was terrific as well and I see an okonomiyaki party in my near future. The temples and shopping streets were interesting as well. The tour guide filled me in on some uncommon facts that make the experience memorable.

This tour was wonderful! Our tour guide, Mai, was so friendly and informative! We enjoyed the individualized tour of the market and historical information. The matcha making lesson and the Japanese pancake making lesson and lunch were unique experiences. I highly recommend this tour and tour guide.

Although it was raining, we had a wonderful time with our guide. We went to make our. Own savory pancake (forgot what it's called) and it was really good! The temple we went to was also very interesting. We did our own fortune telling with the sticks.

She was great and really informative about the history. The tours are quite small so you have a good opportunity to look at things and ask questions

Our guide was wonderful. Our only complaint - at no fault of his - was the crowds in late May at the temple. The variety in the tour (temple, Namikase, making matcha and making lunch) kept it interesting (when traveling with teenagers that’s no small feat!).

What an incredible tour!! Our guide, Hina, was wonderful and very professional. She took us through Senso-ji temple and the surrounding area and explained many things along the way. I really learned a lot on this tour! She then took us to a matcha factory where we learned how matcha is made, starting from the cultivation process through grinding it into powder - which we were able to try! Then matcha tasting (which was amazing), and afterward, lunch. This tour really is worth your time; and I would definitely recommend Hina if you can get her as your guide!

Hina was an amazing tour guide! We had such a lovely time learning about Japanese history, a new appreciation for matcha, and a new favorite recipe where we went for lunch.

Great time in Asakusa. My dad and I were the only ones on the tour. Ryo explained the cultural aspects of the Sensoji temple. He showed us all the best shops to buy souvenirs. The matcha tea making and tea ceremony was pretty cool.
Lunch was the best part making the Japanese Okonomiyaki, it was delicious!
Special thanks to Ryo for taking us all the way to the kitchen goods street where I found the perfect chefs knife.
