Joseph gave so many useful tips regarding what we can see, do, and eat in Ho Chi Minh City, especially those off the beaten path. Very helpful. He also has so much cultural and historical insights regarding Viet Nam, and the best part is he tries his best to be unbiased and give multiple perspectives. And you might not notice it because of his dry delivery, but he also has many jokes :)
The only thing I would change is if his speaker volume would be louder. Sometimes it was hard to hear him with all the traffic noise.

Nice walking tour of Hanoi however “English” speaking guide had a heavy Asian accent so you could not understand 50% of what he said. Too bad.

Our guide Joseph was very knowledgeable and friendly. There were some great stops on the tour. Definitely try a traditional Vietnamese coffee. Delicious!

We had Joseph as a guide. He was punctual and interesting as a guide.
He Spoke very good English and we learned a lot. Unfortunately we had to leave earlier running late for a booked Cu Chi tunnels tour in the afternoon, so we had to skip The Jade emperor temple and the War Museum. However Joseph suggested we do the War Remnant museum the next day morning just before our flight which we did.
We were happy we could arrange the city walking tour with detoured Asia and wish we could spend more time with Joseph and have other tours together. Sadly 1 month is not enough to see everything we wanted in Vietnam and we shall return again. Thanks - Polina and George

Absolutely loved my experience with Detoured Asia. We took tours with them in both Hanoi and Saigon, and there's no way we would have seen the same amazing things if we were left to our own devices! Fantastic expert local knowledge – 100% recommend them!
