This is not a swimming area for non-swimmers and infants, but the most variety-packed water park for miles around, for everyone who is looking for some thrills. we took the Sunset ticket for 3 hours, from 4pm-7pm, a family of 5 with kids 9, 13 and 16 and we all had a wonderful time - and 3 hours where enough.
Also, there where almost no lines and wait time which made it event greater.
Most slides are for sure extreme, which we loved, the place is clean, in the midde of the most beautiful sincery possibe, and our 9-year old that wasnt able to go on many of the slides, still found enough thrills to have.

We had a great day in the park. We took Megaswing and high ropes. Unfortunately via ferrata was fully booked. If you’re afraid of heights and speed, this is not your place, unless you do sunbathing and let the others take the risk. BOOK IN ADVANCE otherwise you may not be able to do anything.

We had a great day/half day in Area47. In the morning we booked a canyoning tour. It started on time and to our surprise there were two of us (with the guide) on the Lost Valley Tour. The equipment is great and we were taken up by bus. The tour itself was great fun and Andrea was a very good guide. The tour was obviously a little shorter (because there were only two of us), but that was fine for us. The tour is recommended for advanced climbers and that's OK. The website says there are up to 11 abseiling points, but in reality there were only 2 (maybe jumps can also be abseiled). For us the tour could have been a little tougher, but it was really fun. At the end we missed the fact that there were no chips, beer or anything like that. We're used to that from other tours. The price was reasonable, especially for the private tour. :) It was a shame it didn't quite live up to our expectations, but our guide was really great!!
In the afternoon we enjoyed the sun in the water area (which is included in the tour). It is beautiful and offers various attractions for all tastes (slides, water courses, jumps, etc.). The queue times for us were still OK, but I think that on certain days it gets full.
We had a great spot and enjoyed a cold drink at the pool bar with very friendly service.
We had a cool day!

A waterpark for the adventurous. Larg sunbathing area, a restaurant and bar.

I really enjoyed this place and found it super fun, however I was annoyed that I found women weren’t allowed on a particular slide yet men were? I understand for health reasons but surely make the slide safe for all genders and not just for men? That seemed pretty sexist to me but otherwise the place was ok.

This is a very fun park, in a great location and with many thinks to do.
So why, am I rating 1 star?
Short answer…because of their ZERO customer empathy. It is unfortunately that whenever issues arises, they are not able/willing to help clients. Area47 did not show any intention to go above and beyond to create a good customer experience, on the contrary, I was very unhappy with the lack of empathy showed from their side.
Definitively not an experience to repeat.

Stonkingly great fun for the intrepid! Was set at ease by the rafting chap who kept the kids both entertained and alive. Really well run and surprisingly the food at the restaurant was great. Awesome day out!
