Just returned from a wonderful wine tasting at La Lastra. So much more than just tasting wine. The tour and explanations from Maya were fabulous. Good fun and interesting in equal measure. The whole experience was excellent, including the food where preparing me a dairy-free option was no problem at all.
Would highly recommend this to any Siena visitors.

Wow, what a treat! Our guide Maia shared what all went into the organic wine they produce at La Lastra. It was so interesting learning how the soil, climate, insects and humans interact and affect the grapes, specifically near Siena. We had a delicious lunch and the wine was incredible! She was very generous in her pours and we sampled way more than I expected. She helped us learn how to smell the notes and taught us so much in a few hours. Her job is clearly her passion and it comes through! One of my favorite tours ever!!

Great wine tour! We loved learning about the agriculture of growing grapes for wine (and olives)! Afterwards we got to see the wine cellar with a tremendous explanation of the aging process for wine. The tour wrapped up with a tasting of 6 great wines paired with an amazing lunch and dessert! We highly recommend this wine tour/experience! The winery also helped us get a taxi back to Siena.

This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! It was so much fun and learned how to make pasta by hand! The small group made it even better.

Amazing! What a beautiful experience. Maia was our tour guide, she did an amazing job. I learned so much about wine as well as the process and important aspects in the tuscany area.
Had the most delicious lunch I have had so far in Italy. Beautiful winery and amazing people.

This was an incredible experience and easily a highlight of our trip to Italy. We learned so much, laughed in abundance, and got to try several incredible wines with a great meal. I would recommend this to anyone I know.
