Excellent. We spent a long day mostly in the car, but it was worth it. We were picked up from our hotel at the scheduled time, actually it was two minutes late and the guide apologized for it. The tour was just my wife and myself and we were off to Long Tan looking at the scenery and talking about the country of Vietnam and its people. We were met at a meeting point by our local guide, Trung. He was extremely polite and knowledgeable about the time the Australians spent at Nui Dat and Long Tan and gave a good commentary along the way. After the tour of the Australian Base and battlefield we were taken back to the meeting place where we were handed back to our first guide. From there we went to a restaurant for lunch which was a very nice local offering and then back to our hotel in Ho Ch Minh City. All in all a very moving and touching experience. Well done to all.
