The crew was amazing. A bus came to pick us up and took us to Margaritaville. We stayed there approximately 1.5 hours. Then we walked into the ocean to load the boat. The crew was super nice. I enjoyed snorkeling, since it was my first time I stayed near the boat and that was fine with me. The waves were too choppy to dock so we went back to Margaritaville to load the bus. This is where it became chaotic. No clear instructions were given so the drivers weren't sure what we needed to do and the passengers were lost. We eventually all ended up at Rick's for 1 hour. All in all I would still recommend this experience to anyone.

Amazing from start to finish. Our driver collected us from Montego Bay and took us to negril, we then boarded the catamaran we stopped to snorkel in the beautiful sea before heading onwards to Ricks. The energy of the staff members is unmatched. Thank you for a fantastic experience.

SWIMMING TO THE CATAMARAN BOAT…
They advertised to bring a towel and sunscreen…. Nowhere in the email did they mention that we would have to walk in the chest-high water to get to the catamaran… my granddaughter is only 5 feet tall and if we were told this I would NOT have booked and paid for this trip. It was 17 family members and that was the only part that we didn’t like…
The wind was also too high to get out at Ricks Cafe so we had to go back to Margarittaville, get on the bus and then go to Ricks, but we all opted out and went back to our resort. Before we left some other guy gets on our bus to say that they were not giving a refund if we didn’t go to Ricks…. NO ONE ever said that we wanted money back…. We needed to get dry and eat.
Oh I forgot to mention that I ordered food at margaritaville and along with the enclosed plastic ware was a roach attached to it…. I left the food were it was, actually paid for it and left…
Our driver MO, was GREAT…he and our tour guide was TERRIFIC FOR OUR EXPERIENCE..

To overcrowded and I think one of the crew had more rum punch than me..one upside the girl serving at the bar was lovely made sure you we're served when it was your turn but beware they come from all angles to the bar half didn't know what a queue was..

Took the cruise on May 21 and was forced to go even though it was storming at our hotel in Negril. Per Nexus Tours it was not storming at Rick's Cafe. Doesn't seem safe but we got over that once the weather cleared. My biggest disappointment is that we paid for pictures on the boat and never received the email. We took a screenshot of the number of the person responsible in case this happened, and they won't return any calls or texts. We have also complained to Nexus and they did not receive a response from the operator as well. Nexus won't refund our money until they talk to the operator who won't respond to them. Now Nexus is trying to give us the operators email to contact them. If the contracted operator isn't responding to Nexus why would they respond to us. It seems Nexus is comfortable with their customers being scammed by the operators that they have contracted. Don't pay for anything extra on these tours as you may not get it and have no recourse. I will never use Nexus for tours again. I have always had good experiences with Amstar

We loved everything about it from the driver to the host of the Catamaran! Our only issue was that they allowed the locals to solicit goods on the the beach at Margaritaville, which was very exhausting when it came to telling them no. They would become rude once you didn’t buy anything, so learn how to say no! But once we departed the beach everything was great, our host Dex was great, so was the DJ. We didn’t get to dock at Rick’s Cafe due to choppy waters, so we spent a little more time partying on the boat, as we had to turn around to go back to Margaritaville and drive about 10-15 mins back to Rick’s cafe. Once there we did wish we could’ve spent a little more time, but we had a great time!

Amanda was great! She made sure that we got on this boat after it was cancelled twice due to not meeting its quota. But she was able to communicate and got us on. Our driver Daren was the best!! He was super friendly and really catered to our needs! The tour itself was great! The crew was fun and we were able to snorkel and hang out at Rick’s cafe. Overall, definitely recommend!!

We were on the Tortuga. I would do the same cruise but with a different crew. Only two friendly people - the bartender and the entertainer. Also, I am down for loud music but not when the speakers can’t handle it. Either get better speakers or turn it down.
