Our kitchen is located in a historic building: a 16th century flour windmill in the heart of Palma de Mallorca which we have brought back to life.
At MOLTAK we celebrate life as reflected in the kitchen. Where the main ingredients are the stories shared as we linger around the stove, appetisers in hand, and set simple tables. Moments that create sparks, that matter, all cooked together with love and a touch of adventure.
Because there has always been a lot of life in the kitchen. A lot of all things good. A lot of joy, a lot to cheer, a lot of flavour, and a lot of laughter. And all that, is what we want to share with you
We love sharing our knowledge for local food, culture and our beautiful island. Participants will elaborate the menu with the help of our hosts. After the cooking session, we will eat together enjoying the best atmosphere and nice wine.

We were a family of 8 adults , most of whom like to cook . The information given beforehand was very detailed and included instructions how to get to their new location
The kitchen / dining area is in an old mill that has been very well renovated , with perfect cooling for a hot day and very well equipped
Maria ran our class and she was very easy to talk to in English and has a great sense of humor .
We cooked a range of very Spanish dishes , none of which we had tried to cook before and Maria’s instructions were perfect . Everyone of our party had a chance to cook
It was a really fantastic 3 hours and the highlight of our trip to Palma

Vivian was amazing! We made the most delicious paella and crème de catalana. She made a dairy free alternative for me. It was the highlight of our Mallorca trip.

This was a very fun and delicious evening! Luis was an amazing host, a wonderful chef that taught us how to make classic Spanish dishes in an easy and fun way. Lots of laughs, lots of delicious wine and a large, filling meal. The Windmill venue was absolutely charming. Highly recommend and thanks for a fantastic evening!

Vivian our Chef was very organized, energized, knowledgeable, personable and welcoming. She explained each dish that we cooked and taught us many good cooking tips. The food was delicious. Everyone in the class was involved in the preparation and or cooking of each dish. There was plenty of food, drinks and of course conversation and laughter. My husband and I had a wonderful experience.

De kookworkshop was in 1 woord geweldig! Locatie helemaal top en Luis heeft samen met ons een heerlijke maaltijd gekookt. Het zijn geen moeilijke gerechten en ze waren allemaal even lekker. Kortom een super activiteit!

The food was great and Maria, our host, made it so much fun to cook and to share. She had helpful tips, created a friendly and inclusive environment, and took care to show us how to avoid some common cooking pitfalls for when we try to cook the dishes back home
Also, something I didn’t realize when booking, is that the kitchen is only a block or two away from the Cathedral and the rest of Palma’s city center. So it’s the perfect end to a day there or start to a night if going on the weekend.
