the tour was very interesting! It's a shame we didn't get to meet Nessie, but it was a very interesting time on board the boat that took us to Urquhart Castle (excited by the hot chocolate and whiskey!). The visit to the castle ruins was also very interesting and educational! We learned a lot about the history of the Highlands and Scotland! Thank you to our guide who filled us with information about the city and the Scottish!

I can't imagine seeing Loch Ness any other way than by sailing across it in the early morning fog. It was a beautiful day and the water so dark you can imagine something might live deep below. You get up close to Urquhart Castle, a wonderful ruin.

It was rather a dreary day but you can choose to stay under cover so it’s not a problem. There are snacks and beverages available for sale on the lower deck. We traversed the canal and then a short ride on Loch Ness. The narrator was very personable and had great facts. There is a wonderful gift shop as well as cafe located here. No Loch Ness monster though😥

Great way to experience the lake. Upper deck & lower enclosed deck both have great views. Good recording provided history/information about the lake and castle. Dress warm!

This was a quick cruise to learn about the local area and history. The staff were great and there was a lot of information. Sadly the majority of people on the tour had no interest in hearing the information being given over the speaker. Instead people chose to talk loudly amongst themselves. So if you want to actually learn anything, you need to sit upstairs in the outside portion. It was too cold the day we went so we were sadly indoors and the noise level made it impossible to hear any information. So keep that in mind when booking. If the boat is full and you are inside, you likely won’t learn much if anything. Otherwise, it was a great experience. Just unfortunate so many people on board weren’t more considerate.

This tour is excellent - wonderful insightful commentary from our coach driver Linda and our boat host (name unknown). Would have liked a little longer at the Castle Weather not ideal but plenty of opportunity for great photos on the Loch and at the Castle. Would certainly recommend.

The cruise was really nice and worth it. Take the boat route so you get a view of the castle from the water. The castle itself also has an interesting history.

About as dull as it gets. Waste of an hour.
Capitan of the boat was miserable and rude, generic audio played on speakers that you could only just hear. Wouldn’t waste your time or money on this. Typical tourist trap
