Guatape Rock & Private Boat Ride Tour: Explore Guatape from the water

Great day trip from Medellin. We were picked up from our building promptly and learned so much from our driver, Andres. We tasted a bunch of exotic fruits at the market and climbed to the top of La Piedra. Did a private boat ride to learn about the former residences of Pablo Escobar. Had a traditional lunch in the town and then walked the streets and visited a few shops before heading back to Medellin.

Our tour to El Penol and Guatape including a boat tour was outstanding! One of the best days of our trip to Colombia. Erika was so knowledgeable, accommodating, and patient. I wish every tour guide we had was like her. Her vast knowledge about Colombia was truly amazing. She thought about everything we would need from water bottles, hand sanitizer to rain gear. I'm so so glad we picked this company for our tour.

This was a wonderful tour. Our guide was Andres who was great. He really knows his stuff and is also very patient, kind, and thorough. We had our 3-year-old with us and he was very thoughtful about navigating the tour with her. Also, communicating with the company was a breeze. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this excursion for anyone looking for a full but delightful day trip.

We had a fantastic tour of Guatape with Erika. She is exceptionally knowledgeable and accommodating. She was willing to adjust to the tour based on our interests. She explained the history in amazing detail and made all of our stops fascinating. We feel fortunate to have had Erika as our tour guide. We have visited many countries and she is maybe the best guide we have ever had.

Andres was so helpful in helping me put a day tour together for a very large group, a mix of English and Spanish speakers. Sara was our guide and she did an excellent job. Highly recommend this company!

We had an amazing time with MedellinDayTrips and our guide, Erika. The communication was excellent leading up to our trip. Erika was a fantastic tour guide - she was extremely knowledgeable and fun to hang out with! We learned a ton about the history of the town and she did a great job timing the tour activities for optimal weather and avoiding the crowds. She was very willing to customize the tour to our liking, which was really nice. And her English skills were fantastic for anyone looking to take the tours in English. 🙂

Henry was a great guide. He provided flexibility to meet our needs, as well as shared many interesting stories and history with us. He was fully fluent in Spanish and English which made it easy for everyone in our group to engage in conversation with him.

Diana our tour guide was extremely kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. She was always making sure that everyone felt safe as well as having fun. I would 100% recommend her to anyone. You will not regret it.

We did the Guatape Tour with Erika as our guide. And the tour was amazing! Climbing the monolith, having the best views over the landscape during the boat tour and walking through the city looking for the beautiful zocalos. We had a really great day and enjoyed it a lot! Erika is an awesome tour guide with a lot of knowledge and the best ideas to make the day an unforgettable part of our Colombia trip!
