This is the perfect tour for you if you like breathtaking sceneries, to be surrounded by nature, off-the-beaten-path destinations and learning about the origin of two of the most consumed drinks in the world: coffee and chocolate.

During this tour you get to visit two different non-touristy farms, one of cacao and one of coffee, both are relatively close to the city and close to each other so you spend most of the time enjoying and learning about the artisanal process of both products.

Taking this tour you learn and participate in all the steps from planting the seeds to packaging. Then you have the chance to customize your chocolate and buying premium quality coffee and chocolate products.

To complement this experience we provide a delicious traditional lunch (included) served in the farm that you eat as you contemplate the stunning views.

But definetly the best of the day is interacting with the warmest farmers in their houses.

Book this amazing tour, you will never regret!

I went on the tour with my wife and 2 kids (7 and 11). Before the trip even started, the company was very communicative. I could tell they could communicate very well in English and were very clear and detailed about the trip. Then our tour guide, Sara, also communicated with us a few days before the trip to make sure everything was good and to address any questions we had.

The Tour started out with Sara being very punctual, early in fact, with no pressure on us although we were punctual as well. Her English was amazing! Her personality, divine! Her knowledge, 5 star. Once you experience all of the different parts of the tour with her and see how involved and knowledgeable she is, you’ll understand why you are extremely lucky to have this young lady as your tour guide. The coffee and chocolate tour was so much more than just that. I don’t have enough room in this review to detail every part of it, but I can tell you that all of us, including our kids, LOVED it! The price you pay is peanuts compared to the attention, professionalism and quality product you receive. We can’t say enough about this tour, the company; and of course; Sarita 🫶
My advice to you is to communicate with them early and they will go above and beyond to address your needs.

All the best to all of you on the tour that made it so special, which was everyone!!

Such an amazingly personal and private tour! We felt like we were the only people in all of the Colombian countryside. The view was incredible. We hiked 10 minutes to the coffee farm and picked coffee beans and saw how they were prepared to make amazing fresh coffee. We sipped it while staring at the view. Homemade lunch and then we prepared the delicious chocolate. The host families were so welcoming and it was wonderful.

A truly magical experience!

Our tour guide Sara was so lovely, energetic and kind. She was a fountain of knowledge and was a wonderful guide.

The tour itself was so insightful - we learned everything about farming and producing coffee and chocolate from local farmers. The experience felt so unique and it was nice to be able to support local families.

Could not recommend this enough!

Laura was the perfect guide for the coffee and cacao tour. She was patient and took the time to explain every detail. Her knowledge of both coffee and cacao was impressive. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. I highly recommend booking a tour with her.

This was hands down one of the best tours I have been on. Andres was an excellent host. He picked us up promptly in an air conditioned van and we learned so much from him! We did both the coffee and cacao farm tour and both were incredible experiences of a lifetime. The families that shared their land and time with us exuded generosity. Andres is an excellent story teller. He is SO passionate about coffee farming especially and it shows through his vibrant stories. Overall our group has the best time. All of us couldn’t stop talking about how memorable this experience one. Andres was also kind enough to take so many pictures of us using his phone and he sent to us afterwards. Don’t hesitate to book!! 10000/10!

The entire tour of both fincas (farms) was amazing! This was definitely one of the biggest highlights of our Colombia trip. Laura was an excellent guide for the entire trip. Very knowledgeable about the city of Medellín as well as coffee and chocolate production. She made sure we were comfortable the entire way and made sure everyone was taken care of. Could not recommend her more; really wonderful human.

The fincas had beautiful views. That alone might have been worth the trip. What also made it great, was getting to meet locals and witnessing their daily lifestyle. They were incredibly welcoming, humble, and willing to teach us.

Jose was super knowledgeable and had everything ready to go. It was great learning about the coffee making process. Picking our own and tasting the final product was awesome!

Sandra and her family blew us away with a walk through the jungle picking cacao fruit, providing a great place to relax and eat lunch, and taking us through the chocolate making process. Tasting the different cacao fruits was something we wont forget!

Honestly a great all around experience! Just go!

Our chocolate and coffee-making tour was nothing short of amazing! The ride, views, and overall vibe were fantastic.

Our first stop was the bean to bar chocolate making experience where Sara, Geronimo, Alicia and Efren welcomed us to their wonderful home. They guided us through every step, from picking cacaos to molding our chocolate bars. It was hands-on, informative, and filled with delightful conversations, not to mention the delicious lunch that left us wanting more! Everything was so perfect, we didn’t want to leave but had to go to the next part of our trip.

Next stop was another 15 minute drive up the mountains (kudos to Andres’ driving skills!) to Anna and Jose’s home with breathtaking views. They welcomed us with a refreshing lemonade and then started the work where we picked and went through the process of separating the meat of the fruit from the pits which then gets dried under the sun and then roasted. Of course, we had to reward ourselves with a cup or two of coffee after!

A huge thank you to Andres for his hospitality, humor, patience, knowledge, and even playing DJ. This experience is truly one for the books!

I’m going to start with a bold statement. Out of all the travel-related tours we’ve done across several countries over the years, this was the best experience we’ve ever had.

Sarah was our guide, but it felt more like reconnecting with an old friend. From pickup to drop off, we were welcomed and treated like family. The same is true with the families at the farms which were warm and welcoming… lots of friendly laughs and excitement in sharing their lives with us. We were beyond gracious of their time.

One thing worth mentioning that I feel should be celebrated, is that women were leading everything. From leading the tour to roasting coffee beans for the entire village and even bringing out a machete so we can try fresh cacao, this was special and not lost on my wife and I.

I should also mention that Sarah was very clear on timelines and what to expect without us having to ask. We were able to enjoy the tour with our full attention and not once had to worry about anything.

We hope to have the opportunity to revisit with friends. Loved everything about this tour!

The coffee and cacao tour exceeded our expectations completely, Sara is a great tour guide. We loved the fact that we visited small local farms, and that the tours are helping them buy things for their business too.

Sara was really passionate and knowledgeable about not just the coffee and cacao, but also Colombian culture in general which made the day extra special. She also made us feel less like tourists on a commercialised tour and more like we were getting to experience life with the farms and families for a day.

Couldn’t recommend this tour enough!
