Although many cross-country tours in Turkey only allocate a day to Cappadocia’s preternatural landscape and innovative architecture, most travelers find that a two-day tour strikes the right balance between seeing the region’s highlights and sacrificing time elsewhere in the country. See all of the highlights of Cappadocia comfortably during this two-day tour departing from Istanbul. Don’t risk running out of time to see all of the region’s unique natural heritage; instead, make sure you get to experience all of Cappadocia’s surreal landscapes, its cave churches, and the underground city.

• The prices of package are valid for accommodation at the double or triple room. If you would like add accommodation on single room(s) to your booking, there could be supplement cost. There are not going to be any extra cost for bookings of single / solo travelers. They will already accommodate at single room(s).
• The pre-planned hotels are "1811 Cave Boutique Hotel" - "Zeydem Suites Cave Hotel" for your accommodation on this travel package. You can choose one of them during reservation. If these hotels (which you preferred) are not available for standard/superior rooms on your travel dates, service provider (tour operator) can replace it with an equivalent hotel. IMPORTANT NOTE (SUGGESTION) 1811 Cave Hotel is a historical building and it doesn't have AC in rooms because of that. If you travel in July-August, we highly suggest you make booking to options of Premium Package.
• The check-in time of the hotels is 02.00pm, and you can not start use your room before this time. This is about the check-in & check-out policies of the hotels.
• The differences between the package options are about the hotel categories. Tour(s), airport transfer(s) and flight ticket levels will be same for all options.
• Service provider (tour operator) will send e-tickets of your domestic flights at three days before your departure date. You will not need the print out copies of the tickets for domestic flights. Your passport, and reservation number on the tickets will be enough for get your boarding cards from the desks of airline companies.
• Service provider (tour operator) can request your some passport details for the bookings of your flight tickets. If you do not share the details which requested by service provider (tour operator), your domestic flight tickets can not bookable.
• You will have 15kg luggage + 8kg hand bag quota per person for each domestic flight. If you will need more luggage capacity, please inform that to service provider (tour operator). There could be some extra fee for luggage quotas more than 15kg. This is exactly about the policies of airline companies.
• If your return hotel is different than pick-up hotel, please inform that detail immediately. If you inform that detail after organised your flight tickets, service provider (tour operator) can request extra cost because of the distances between the airports and some hotels. If you inform this type changes on service day (last day of your trip), service provider (tour operator) do not accept this last minute amending and drop you to your pick-up hotel.
• If your pick-up / drop-off hotels are inside of airports (IST and SAW airports) service provider (tour operator) do not provide any hotel pick-up / drop-off service.
• Hot air ballooning is a fully weather-dependent activity and the Civil Aviation Authority determines whether the flight will be held. If your flight is cancelled due to inclement weather conditions, you are entitled to a partial refund. In such a case, your refund will be processed by the day after of that trip. Your refund rate will be the difference between options of "included balloon ride" and "excluded balloon ride" for the cancellations of the hot air balloon ride.
• The Standard Balloon Ride has an One-hour approximately flight duration with 20 to 28 people capacity basket. The flight duration could be 50-55 minutes or 65-70 minutes. This situation depend the weather conditions before landing, and pilots are decide to that within the safety rules of Civil Aviation Authority. Total activity duration is approximately 3 hours.
• If you do not use any service or give up join to activities / tours / airport transfers, that's meaning is going to be last minute cancellation. Because of that, there is not going to be any refund for that.
• Vegetarian option is available, please advise at time of booking if required.
• Please advise any specific dietary requirements at time of booking.
• The children who 5 years old and under are not allowed to balloon tours.
• Child rate applies only when sharing with 2 paying adults. If you will be 1 adult + 1 child, service provider (tour operator) can request & charge the amount of 2 adults.

The balloon ride is amazing. The Zeydem Suites hotel room was excellent as well. Great location for walking to restaurants. Our guide Elo was excellent as well, very informative. Both lunch stops were ok, nothing to write home about. The locations visited were very interesting. One part not listed were stops at local warehouses trying to sell local goods. We stopped at a pottery warehouse, leather goods warehouse, jewelry warehouse, and carpet warehouse. They spent a few minutes explaining their craft and then wanted to sell you something. They were NOT pushy though in wanting sales. It wasn't on the tour list but I understand wanting to sell goods. I thought the carpet making demonstration was very interesting, and the 7 minute fashion show was interesting as well. The one very negative part of the trip was the shuttles to/from the airport to the hotel in Cappadocia. Both shuttle drivers drove very fast, swerving between lanes, and texting multiple times on cell phones while speeding. I informed the tour operator of this and hopefully will be better for other groups. The tour operator was very informative and helpful at all times with directions and further instructions using what's app. Our plane out of Cappadocia was delayed by 6 hours and the tour operator made sure we had a driver ready in Istanbul when we arrived at 5am to airport. Overall, an awesome experience with the balloon ride and just a few negatives with driver safety.

We had a wonderful experience in Cappadocia, we had the 2 day tour, the undercity is impressive, and the hot air balloon flight was amazing. We had a different guide tour each day. Our guide day two was Mustafa, which was very charismatic and knowledgeable, on day one, Ilaida was our guide she was cheerful and excellent as well. We highly recommend taking this two day tour just be careful of people trying to sell you ceramic and jewelry.

We had a great time. This is my last min addition to the trip. Viator always keep me posted with my itinerary. Also our tourist guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Mustafa and his sis Iloandrea both of them made our trip so memorable. I recommend them as your tourist guide.

A well organised tour where everything was organised relieving me of the headache of planning .

I prefer less 'shopping' trips as somehow I feel pressured into buying things .

Only downside was we were picked up 1st so ended up getting up really early .

Transfer to Istanbul airport - frightening - driver drove in excess of 120 KPH flashing his lights at any vehicle in his way - No-one at the airport to assist with finding flight/check in.
Transfer from Cappadocia airport - driver kept us waiting whilst he did a transfer deal with non viator passengers and then was on his phone for most of the journey. First day tour Guide average - group mixed with people on second day of their tour. Guide got angry in front of the rest of the toyur over a meeting point misunderstanding (not professional - should have dealt with it privately - Many years ago I was an operations manager for incoming UK tour operator so I feel qualified to comment).
Hotel excellent - Balloon ride excellent
Second day tour (as with the first day) - average too many visits to places who want to sell you something.
Lunches first day good second day OK
Return transfer to Cappadociaa Airport - fine - no assistance at airport - flight 1 hour late.
Meeting at and Transport from Istanbul airport to my hotel very good - with the flight delay and the fact airport staff (not tour operator) misdirected us to a meeting point AND the fact my phone ran out of credit the represntative waited for us and directed us to our taxi - 10/10 for him.
All in all the tours not that interesting - Hotel and Balloon ride excellent that's why it's 3 stars without the balloon ride and hotel it would have been 1 or 2

What an experience! I highly recommend this tour. Be ready for lots of driving to and from airports but the drivers are good. The balloon experience is magical and worth it all!

Highly recommend this tour. It was well organized from the pickup in Istanbul to the return flight back to Istanbul and hotel. This company did not miss a beat. They were professional, organized and on time. We had the best experience and enjoyed our hot air balloon ride. Most memorable experience ever.

Wonderful trip and experience in Cappadocia with the most uniquely awe inspiring hot air balloon ride over the Sun rise in the Goreme valley. Certainly elated with everything packaged into this trip starting with the cave hotel at Zeydem, visits to the monasteries, unesco endorsed mountain churches, underground city and several other breath taking sites like fairy chimney, pigeon valley, uchisar castle and imagination devrent valley. Our guide Umit was very friendly and accommodative!
