Our guide was such a chill, welcoming, and knowledgeable individual. This truly was one of my favourite things to do during my trip to Spain. My friend and I wanted to visit some of the smaller vineyards in Spain, to get a more authentic and local experience, and this definitely fit the bill. Both vineyards we visited are and have been family-owned for generations. We tried such unique wines, including Rose Cava. What was an unexpected and welcome surprise was the emphasis on organic and sustainable wine-making. We learned about the process of wine-making, the shortcomings of mass production, and what these generational vineyards have to offer. Also — the wine was SO cheap! Wish I got another bottle. Also, the e-bikes were super easy to ride and fun. 10/10 recommend. :)

My husband and I traveled to Spain on our honeymoon. Both of us agree that our favorite part was the day we spent biking around the Penedes wine region with Thomas. The region is absolutely beautiful and not at all touristy. Thomas was an excellent guide, conversationalist, and educator, and it was fascinating to learn about the history of wine in the region, as well as some of the techniques used to grow and harvest the grapes. The wineries we visited were also beautiful and the wine was fantastic, unique, and economical- we ended up ordering 3 cases from one of the wineries! Thank you Thomas and Penedes EcoTours for a wonderful day!

My friend and I had a great day thanks to our lovely guide Thomas. He may look a little sleepy but was in fact very pleasant, witty and tolerant. The bike tour was also very enjoyable without any difficulty. I was worried about drunk and ride a bit but Thomas didn't let that happen. He was really passionate and knowledgeable about the wine industry, and also had many connections, which made the tour an exceptional experience. We loved his selection of wines and cava, really tasty and unique! I can't recommend more.

My sister and I were visiting the Barcelona region for a week. We wanted to do a little more exploring and I can across Ecotours. Thomas was so accommodating when we needed to change the date of the tour. He was an amazing and knowledgeable tour guy who really cared about the region and it’s history. The bike ride was not hard and the region is beautiful. Trying the organic wines from smaller wineries was so amazing. The worst part is that I can’t buy the wines outside of Spain even though I’m addicted! I would 100% recommend this for anyone, whether solo, couples or parties.

This was a great tour. Nice wineries, very knowledgeable guide, and great bikes. We used the electric bikes which were a perfect blend of biking and enjoyment. Beautiful country and beautiful ride!!

Thomas answered the reservation email right away. We rented a car and did the tour from Pènedes. We arrived a few minutes late to the meeting and patiently Thomas and crew waited for us. The visit was great. We do not want to reveal the circuit, just tell them that Thomas and the owner of the vineyard in this case Marta have been a charm, cozy hosts they made us feel a part. We recommend it and we will definitely go back with friends.

We are so happy we did this guided tour. It was so, so nice. Very good e-bikes that everyone can handle, beautiful landscape and roads, nice to meet other people in a small group and Thomas was a great guide and person. We visited a small family owned wineyard where Marta showed us around. She was so enthusiastic and a great personality. She let us taste three of their delicious wines and cavas together with some snacks at a charming terrace by her house. It was so familiarly and relaxed. Thanks for the experience,Thomas. You are doing a great job! This absolutely became the highlight of our trip.
