We needed a bit of a change up from the beaches so we decided to try the mountains with this tour. We had Nicholas as a tour guide. He did a great job of sharing history and information about where we were going and what we were doing. He also established a good camaraderie in our group of 5 (6 with Nicholas) -- which was nice because we also learned from each other. The pickup information was clear (our hotel was in a pedestrian zone so we had to walk a bit - not far- for the pickup). The vehicle was quite comfortable. Many thanks for the water bottles! We enjoyed the scenery as we drove as well as the several stops. All the food and drink was delicious. Two of our companions actually had booked a stay at the Milia Mountain retreat -- the rest of us were a bit jealous. We could envision ourselves staying a day or two in such a lovely place.

We've been fortunate to enjoy wonderful experiences in many different places, but our tour with Chania Adventures stands out as one of our best travel experiences...EVER!! Whether it be our visit to a traditional olive farm, relaxing stop at a sophisticated winery, superb lunch at Milia eco-resort or drive through a postcard-worthy gorge... everything was perfect!! While the activities themselves could have easily earned our high praise, what really made this experience stand out was our tour guide, Nasos. He was the most gracious, informative and engaging tour guides one could hope for. You can tell the pride, care, thoughtfulness and personal touches he has incorporated into his meticulous planning and execution. All of which he has instilled in his other tour guides as well. Book this tour without hesitation. I guarantee it will be one of your top travel memories!! In closing, thank you, Nasos from our entire family. We absolutely loved our day together and will definitely remember you anytime we have honey in the future. We had the opportunity to complete the Milia olive oil and wine tasting with lunch tour today with Nikolas as our guide.
We had a great day with 4 other people (6 in total) in an A/C 4WD vehicle.
Nikolas was a very knowledgeable and congenial guide who jollied the group with his stories and easy going manner.
I would highly recommend this tour.

What a fabulous day. Yasous was a mine of information about The history of Crete. Very relaxing great to be driven through the mountains. Olive oil and wine tasting experience was brilliant and lunch at the amazing Restaurant Milia was the icing on the cake. Thank you so much with every euro.

This was an amazing tour. Groups were small and our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about all things Chania. This was a great way to see some things off the beaten path in Chania and learn about its history.

What an amazing tour! Stavros was such a great driver. He told us all about the history of Crete, olives, and Greece. He made sure we were well looked after and told us many many stories. It was the highlight of our trip so far.

Nikolas was amazing and the meal at Milia was, without a doubt, the most amazing food I've ever had. The wine was delicious at the winery, and the women working there were so kind. We enjoyed every stop and every moment with Nikolas. I would recommend this to everyone coming to Chania, and I would request Nikolas as a guide every time!

I organised this as a surprise for my wife on our honeymoon and it was even better than I expected. She loved every part of it. Our driver was very knowledgeable about Crete and every aspect of the tour. The food and wine locations were exceptional choices. I would highly recommend this tour
