Only local guides, driving 7 seater 4wd, full A/C, vehicles , will allow you to explore on really comfortable conditions a part from the mainland of Crete which compatible vehicles, buses or mini buses, can’t offer. In small groups up to 6 guests/vehilcle with lunch, you will have a memorable day.
Early in the morning we visit the 3000-5000 years old olive tree and later at Anoskeli's olive mill and winery the Sommeliers and Wine-Olive Oil producers, as more professional in their sector, will inform you about the wine and olive oil when they serve you.
The adventurous part of the tour is to approach the White Mountains from Sebronas gorge and driving on rough roads.
Have your lunch time at 1200m/4000ft altitude with a magnificent view to Samaria Gorge and the highest summit, named Pachnes (2453m/8048ft).
Heading back to Chania enjoy the view at the Aegean sea from 1000m/3300ft.

What an incredible day we had yesterday touring the White Mountains with Vassilis and Spyros! Both of our friendly guides made us feel right at home as they drove us expertly through breathtaking views of the island, while sharing interesting facts about Cretan history, folklore and traditions. The highlight of our trip was a stop at Xyloskalo restaurant overlooking the Samaria Gorge, where we enjoyed a complimentary lunch of Cretan delicacies. We also loved the visit to the ancient olive tree and wine/olive oil tasting. Highly recommend this company and our guides!

We had a fun and informative day with Vassilas. The scenery was spectacular. The food was excellent. Vassilas was very accommodating and knowledgeable. We all agree it was a perfect day and well worth the price.

Really enjoyed this tour. So many different stops- Oldest Olive tree, Wine and Olive oil tasting, Amazing lunch at Samaria Gorge/White Mountains. Our guide was amazing - a lot of interesting information . Great way to see the Chania countryside.

Our group of 7 loved our tour with Nasos and Nikos. If you enjoy small group tours that truly want to show you a slice of life in the place you’re visiting, this is the tour for you. Nasos and Nikos told us about the history in Chania and in Crete, taught us about different industries (olive oil, wine, tourism) and how they’ve changed over the years, and introduced us to other small businesses in the area. The food was fantastic, the views picturesque, and the company lovely. Nasos in particular has a great way of imparting knowledge and asking questions so guests learn and are engaged. My spouse and I loved his tours so much that this was our second tour on our second trip to Crete and we brought friends.

Good day with multiple experiences, wines, olive oil, scenery, food and beverages. The narrow dirt road to Samaria gorge with beatiful landscape and restaurant food with The Scenery! What a marvellous feeling and a day!

We decided last minute to do this excursion. If I could rate a 20/10 I would . We experienced things we never would have otherwise !! Our guide Vassilas shared his knowledge , humor and hospitality . The winery’s experience was outstanding and the food was amazing . This doesn’t even begin to take into account the views . We learned so much about history and food and goats and so much more . If your are thinking of booking , do it 200% glad we did !

This was the best day trip I’ve ever been part of. The mixture of food, wine, olive oils, history lesson and most of all the scenery was brilliant. Strongly suggest you don’t have breakfast as the lunch was a wonderful selection of traditional Cretan food and clearly fresh local produce. If you drink all the wine you’ll probably need a siesta. There was no skimping on serves. The 4WD takes you off the beaten track so we saw parts of Crete we’d never get to on our own. The whole day was easy going and fun.
