This was one of the best food and wine tours I’ve been on. Nasos was an exceptional guide! We started out at a beautiful coffee shop with a spectacular view. The wine tasting was very detailed and informative and the food was amazing and plentiful (more than enough). Highly recommend when visiting Chania! Thanks for everything Nasos!!!

Fantastic private tour of Chania. Be prepared to try LOTS of traditional Greek cuisine. You will not leave hungry. Wine tasting was excellent and Ms Maria has lots of knowledge about Cretian wine to share. The excellent guide, Nadia, gives you personal time at each stop to make this a truly private and memorable experience. Guide went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable during the very hot day and were treated like members of a family. Highly recommend this tour!

This was one of the best tours that we had on our recent Mediterranean cruise. After being picked up from the cruise terminal we were taken to a cafe overlooking the ocean and had a beautiful view while having a cup of coffee and a snack. There were only nine of us in the group and it gave us a chance to get to know each other. After the coffee we went to a wine tasting and learned more about wine than I thought possible. After the wine tasting we had a stroll through town and then had an amazing Greek lunch. The food was fantastic. We finished up with some free time to stroll though town before heading back to the ship. Nasos was a fantastic guide and realized that we did not have to have him talking to us constantly. He gave us the information and then let us have some time to walk through Chania. It was nice to be relaxed after an excursion rather than being exhausted and tired of being talked to constantly.

We all agreed the food tour was one of our favorite parts of our trip! The view and drinks from the coffee shop in the morning were so amazing we went back for sunset the next day. We learned so much from the wonderful wine tasting and loved lunch. And the tour guide was amazing - we loved exploring the city with him. Highly recommend!!!

Excellent tour - highly recommend - book directly with the owner! Pick up was on time, treat in the car, of course do not eat before because we were not even able to finish what we ate at every station... We particularly enjoyed discovering the less touristy part of Chania and were able to return the next day for more. I would recommend more stations with smaller bites because we were so full in the end but the quality of the tastings and the quantity were there. The owner also has extensive knowledge of the area and was just a wealth of information.

The view with morning coffee was a great way to start the day and we loved both the lunch and wine tasting, which was the most educational wine tasting I’ve ever had. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend this tour.

I cannot say enough good things about this tour. Our tour guide picked us up at the cruise port. He was right on time and had a very comfortable vehicle. There were only 4 of us on the tour which made it very nice and personal. We drove up to a coffee shop with amazing views of the city. He encouraged us to relax and enjoy our coffee and then ordered us a couple of sweet treats to enjoy before we continued our journey. After our coffee experience we drove back into town to a local wine shop where the owner of the shop gave us one of the best lessons in wine tasting that we have ever had! We did a wine tasting of 4 Greek wines. This was such a fun experience! After wine tasting we took a walk through the picturesque streets of Chania to a restaurant where we were treated to a wonderful tasting experience of the best Greek food I have ever had! The food was so delicious! Our tour guide was so friendly and knowledgeable and the whole experience was so enjoyable. I would definitely recommend Chania Adventures and this tour.

Nasos did an excellent job. He did an amazing job explaining the history of the town throughout the tour. The locations chosen were excellent and it was the highlight of our stay at Chania.
