Meet us directly on the island of Ponza for a fun filled day circumnavigating this paradise-like island. This boat excursion lasts 5 hours and included 4-5 swim stops and lunch, as well as an English and Italian speaking trip leader.

WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Ponza Island
We will circumnavigate the island of Ponza by boat stopping along the way 5 times to swim and snorkel (must provide own snorkeling gear). Lunch is served on board.
2. Grotte di Pilato
These grottoes named for Pontious Pilate are an exciting first stop for our itinerary.
3. Chiaia Di Luna
This smooth, moon colored cliff is a favorite stop in Ponza. Your tour leader will describe the romantic legend that gives the cliff its name. If the sea conditions are right, we might even have a swim stop here.
4. Punta Di Capo Bianco
This unique rock formation is bright white, and thats because it was formed from compressed volcanic ash called. There is even a long grotto that runs straight through the cliff here, and at noon the sun creates spectacular blue reflections in the water, retro-illuminating the grotto. Are you adventurous enough to swim through the grotto end to end? If the sea conditions are right, join your tour leader for this unique experience!
5. Piscine Naturali
One of the more popular swimming areas reachable by land, the "Natural Pools" are a sight to behold... perfect swimming pools carved into the rocks by nature.
6. Cala Feola
Cala Feola is Ponza's second port, for smaller boats and is the main area of a quieter side of the island.
7. Cala dell'Acqua
Today Ponza doesn't have its own water source, but long ago, it did and we can see the remnants here in this cove, called "of the water" just for this reason. Note the tiny waterfalls trickling down the cliffside... runoff from what is left of Ponza natural spring. You can also still see the ruins of an ancient Roman aqueduct that once carried the water throughout the island.
8. Cala Fonte
Another beautiful little cove most easily reached by boat.

Lots of history near this little cove. We'll float over the spot where an American landing ship tank sunk during a storm in WWII, a popular spot for divers today. Survey the remnants of a mine that once provided jobs to the Ponzan people. The closure of the mine marked a turning point in the history of the island, to an economy based heavily on fishing and tourism.
10. Cala Felci
Nearing the northernmost tip of Ponza, we'll discover the colorful "Felci Cove". Here, sulphur has colored the cliff walls a bright yellow which contracts with the sparkling emerald of the sea here. This is a common swimming spot, and we'll likely drop anchor here to explore.
11. Arco Naturale
Ponza is a volcanic island, meaning the rock here is soft and constantly being shaped and moulded by the sea. No better example of this can be seen than here, at the "Natural Arch" -- a giant sea stack which has been hollowed out in the center forming an enormous rock arch, big enough to pass a boat under.
12. Spiaggia Di Frontone
The last stop before heading back to port is the Beach of "Frontone". This is the most popular beach on the island and even at the end of the day it is crowded with Italian sunbathers.
13. Centro Storico di Ponza
From when we reach the port and disembark, you will be free to explore the historic center of Ponza. Soak in the end of day atmosphere, have a fresh cold aperitivo or head to the shops: there is something for everyone here.

This trip was hands down best tourist experience me and my wife ever had so far. The communication with the office crew were always on and she always replied withen seconds. I was confused with ferry return tickets and she laid it out for me with links that made it easy. We had a problem getting taxi in the morning but office lady were calming and told staff was notified on site.
Then we met up with our two tour guides who were really fresh, helpful and always ready to answer questions. On the tour, everything was fluent, chill and fun. We swam every time and my wife borrowed swimming ring, no charge and no hussle asking.
The captain and the boat crew were always friendly and helpful. We got accommodated with water, white win, coffee and delicious really warm pasta dish, they came around and always offered seconds and stated we could always ask for more.
We sailed around the island and saw many exciting locations and heard stories of the past and mythical.
We even swam through a tunnel which was a huge highlight aswell, along the tunnel we could take breaks on the rocks and at the end of the tunnel, the boat arrived.
We sailed around the island for 5 hours+ and still had 1 hour to explore Ponza for gift shops and refreshments.
If we ever came back to Rome, this would 100% be something to experience again, especially with same company.

Magical experience! Very comfortable boat, very hospitable guides, the most perfect scenes and swimming. They provided life savors for to help the kids swim. Rated the best day of our vacation by our whole group including the 6 year old and 73 year old!

Riccardo was an excellent tour guide, he picked us up with a broad smile and welcomed us to the tour.
From then on, we were given a great explanation of the history of the island along with many interesting facts about the geology and archeology.
Luckily we were there at the end of the high season and were able to experience the beautiful, crystalline water mostly to ourselves.
strongly recommend both Riccardo as a guide and the tour as a whole.

Professionalism, courtesy and friendliness are the main ingredients for a trip with their boats. The island is beautiful but their professionalism manages to leave you with a beautiful memory.

Marco our guide is an exceptional guy. Friendly, helpful, competent, professional. He made our trip unforgettable. Congratulations also to the captain and his staff for the welcome. Besides being a true sea dog he is also an excellent chef. If you decide to spend a day in Ponza you can only choose them.

what a great trip! the boat wasn’t overcrowded (like some boat tours i’ve done in the past) the staff was lovely and the location… 10/10! Ponza is breathtaking and truly, the best way to visit the island is by boat!

The trip is truly worth it. A day on a boat with stops in different coves and truly beautiful baths. Very pleasant atmosphere and a great way to see the island. ADVICE: DO NOT BOOK ON TRIPADVISOR BUT GET YOUR TICKETS DIRECTLY IN PONZA! We paid 75 euros per person via Tripadvisor while everyone on site paid 42 euros per person!! Between us we practically lost around 60 euros!!! A real scam...
