Relax on a full-day excursion from Rome to Ponza Island with ample time to swim and explore. The ferry to Ponza, costing 60 euros (not included, payable at check-in), departs from Anzio, offering a 1.5-hour ride. Upon arrival in Ponza, take a brief break for breakfast and board an excursion boat for an exhilirating 5-hour circumnavigation of Ponza. Discover hidden coves, gravity-defying rock formations, and blue grottoes while your expert tour leader translates the Italian commentary. Make 4-5 stops for swimming and snorkeling, and enjoy a pasta lunch freshly prepared by the captain and served on board, picnic style.
Tour ends at 4 PM, giving you time to enjoy Ponza's lively port. We will reach central Rome just before 9:00 PM.

Great trip, well organised tour. Perfect last day to escape the city and swim in the Mediterranean Sea. Thoroughly recommend to everyone visiting Rome, especially if you have done the main tourist attractions already.

This was a last minute pick as Rome was having a heat wave in the 100’s🥵. But had I known how Amazing a tour this was I would not have wanted to miss it.
Mara our tour guide was fantastic. She had such a wonderful energy and wealth of information. She made you feel like you were on a private tour with a few friends, in spite of being with 50 ppl.
The core group was 18 that left Rome early AM (which sounds awful, but really was not) The bus provided was comfortable and good AC with nice sights you likely would not see if you did not take this trip.
The transition to the Ferry was smooth enough she and Gabriel did their best to get us good seats on the ferry to Ponza. Again not the most comfortable seats but fine 1:20 min ride.
Then the adventure begins. On to the boat and a lovely magical sight seeing swimming experience. Ponza has such a natural beauty and charm. The water was CRYSTAL and so refreshing.
The Boat captain was wonderful smooth motoring, he even came in the water to swim with us.
The lunch was really good and I thought non touristic. Fresh made Pasta with tomato, olives, tuna sauce. Yummy!!!
And local Isola white wine.
Tips. Bring sunscreen and reaply a lot.
Bring a good towel (I used a hotel towel it was perfect). Wear beach/water shoes.
Bring your own snacks and beverages I brought water and local Ponza Craft beers that were great, chips, cookie. Sunglasses and hat and change of clothes. Something to read or entertain yourself with on the Ferry and Bus rides which account for 5 1/2 hours of the day. And cash for tips to the Boat captain and definitely Mara/Gabriel who all accounted for so much of the magicalness of this trip. They truly all deserve tip as a gesture of respect and kindness for their Huge efforts to make the day GREAT!!!
Very little shopping browsing on land 95 % boat travel and swim adventures which was perfect for me. I’m not a shopper of trinkets etc.
Grazie Mara, Gabriel, Boat captain and his first Mate. Loved, Loved love this.

This was an amazing day in Ponza. Our tour guide was so kind, funny and informative! He was perfect for this, answered every question and showed he genuinely cares about the history of Ponza.

Excellent experience from start to end. Gina our guide met us and made us feel welcome as soon as the trip started. Our captain was great with fantastic driving the boat and letting us see all the good spots which had great history. Would definitely recommend.

It was a very good trip. The meetingpoint was easy to find, the guides were there early. It is a bit a long way to Ponza but when you arrive it is worth it. You go on a nice boat, and you go around the island and make several stops. You can swim and the guide Gina tells you nice things about the island. The only thing we would like more if we had also a little bit time at the beach. Overall very nice and we enjoyed our day a lot.

It was a picture perfect day! The tour guide Gina was so nice and informative! The bus drive and ferry were a bit too long but worth it! The island is beautiful and it’s nice to swim amd snorkel in clear waters! I recommend this trip!

The most amazing trip! Even though we had a little rain and a cloudy sky this trip was so so worth it. Ricardo was an amazing guide, so friendly and knowledgeable about the sights both on the bus and the actual boat tour. I cannot say enough about how beautiful Ponza is, and getting to swim several times throughout the day was an unforgettable experience. Everything was simply amazing.

Great day on the island. We did 5 snorkel spots. The scenery was amazing. The captain and guide were great. Lots of history explained. Only negative would be that it would’ve been nice to find a public bathroom for us before getting in the bus.
