Phare Circus is more than a conventional acrobatic circus. The artists create and perform stories based on their own life experiences. Drawing from recent history, folklore and modern society, the artists blend drama, dance, live music and circus arts to share a part of their lives with audiences.
The performers come from unimaginably difficult social and economic background. They discover and develop their skills at Phare Ponleu Selpak non-profit school. They are able to earn a good living and transform their lives at Phare Circus, breaking the cycle of poverty.
By attending a Phare Circus show, you enjoy Siem Reap's best live entertainment, financially support the school and provide opportunities for Cambodian artists.

Absolutely, positively, totally worth it!
The energy is palpable and infectious.
The show has been produced creatively, meaningfully, and sensitively. It’s anything but a ‘circus’. It’s callisthenics, gymnastics, set to live music. It’s pure theatre, performed with pure joy. Just go and enjoy :)

A fun evening away from the hustle and bustle of the markets. Went to the circus 🎪 on the recommendation of our tuk tuk driver and I am so pleased my daughter and I did so. Usually I am not a fan of what I knew to be a circus ( circus animals and such). This show told a beautiful story with a talented painter, wonderful musicians and a group of truly amazing acrobatics. Go to the “Circus” you will not be disappointed!

We arrive quite early as we wanted to get a bite to eat beforehand. Luckily we did as we got to enjoy 3 performances from some of the children in the company whilst we ate. Food was reasonably priced and lots of tasty Khmer options to choose from. We also really enjoyed our cocktails which you were able to take into the big tent with you.
All the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful from the minute you get there and this definitely contributed to what a great experience we had.
The show was great and the story was easy to follow and the performers were all excellent storytellers. Good mix of traditional music, dance and all the flips and tricks you would expect from a circus.
At the end we had the opportunity to take a pic with the cast and they were lovely and accommodating to the fact I was on crutches so came up to take a picture where we were sitting.
Overall I would definitely recommend for an enjoyable evening out in Siem Reap.

Phantastische und mitreißende Show. Wir und die Kinder waren begeistert. Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall die teuerste Kategorie zu buchen. Die günstigen Plätzen sind teils ziemlich eingeschränkt.

Spettacolo molto coinvolgente con musica dal vivo, suonata con strumenti artigianali e ricavati da reciclo (i tamburi erano bidoni di plastica e annaffiatoio). Arte circense acrobatica senza l'utilizzo di animali. Attori simpatici. Quell' ora di spettacolo vola letteralmente via.
