I'm delighted to hear that you had a wonderful time on the tour! It's fantastic that your tour guide, Canh, was both knowledgeable and humorous, adding to the overall positive experience. It's also heartening to know that the tour supports local families in the Mekong without causing any negative impact. Riding bikes through the village and receiving friendly waves from the locals sounds like a beautiful and immersive experience. The combination of breathtaking sights, fresh food, and a good time overall makes for a memorable adventure.

Our guide, Huy, was a Vietnamese gentleman fluent in English, exuding openness and warmth. It was an intimate experience with just the two of us, accompanied by Huy and the boat driver on a small river boat—a far more personalized and immersive choice compared to a larger vessel.
Contrary to our expectations, the floating markets were modest in size, primarily offering a variety of fruits and vegetables. Navigating through the array of vendors, we hopped onto a pineapple boat for a taste of fresh pineapple and purchased a watermelon.
Venturing into a narrow canal, we visited a small family-run operation witnessing the meticulous handcrafting of rice paper, even trying our hand at it. Afterward, we enjoyed local cuisine nearby and strolled along a path, engaging in conversations with our guide about the diverse array of fruits and plants.
This exceptional tour was expertly guided by Huy, adding a personalized touch that made the experience truly memorable.

The tour guide was excellent, with clear and humorous English, making him both entertaining and helpful throughout the trip. The standout of the tour was the visit to the Cai Rang floating market, a truly memorable experience. The lunch provided on the first day was not only delicious but also a highlight of the culinary aspect of the journey. Having a free evening in Can Tho allowed for exploration of the night market, adding a pleasant touch to the overall experience. However, some activities, such as the royal jelly and temple visit, didn't resonate as much with my preferences.

Had such a positive experience with your guide Long! His combination of humor and informative insights, along with his willingness to address any questions, certainly adds value to the tour. The well-planned itinerary, with ample time for bathroom breaks and refreshments at each stop, contributes to a comfortable and enjoyable journey. The inclusion of local dishes for lunch in a relaxed setting is a nice touch. Long's continuous efforts to entertain, whether through singing, jokes, or stories, further enhance the overall journey.

Thoroughly enjoyable experience. Very well equipped and comfortable sampan. Staff were brilliant, they served delicious food and all with a smile. Lovely to have a leisurely cruise along the Mekong Delta. The only negative point was the floating markets which were touted as the highlight but were not!

We were promptly picked up, but the three-hour taxi ride without seatbelts caused us considerable anxiety. Upon reaching the dock, I expressed our safety concerns to the tour guide, who promptly contacted the tour operator to address the issue for our return journey to Ho Chi Minh.
The boat trip to the floating market felt lengthy, with limited activity upon arrival. Our guide mentioned that an earlier start might have enhanced the experience. Despite this, the market visit, the demonstration of rice paper-making at a local house, and the tour of Muoi Cuong Cocoa Farm were fascinating. The boat ride along the canal was particularly enjoyable.
We commend the tour operator for arranging a luxury bus for our return journey to Ho Chi Minh.

Our 2-day tour of the Mekong Delta and Floating Market was an absolutely enriching experience, offering a deep dive into the local culture and lifestyle. The tour was well-structured, balancing sightseeing, relaxation, and exploration perfectly.

Day one was a revelation, as we navigated the bustling floating markets. The vibrancy and lively atmosphere were captivating, and our guide's insights into the local trading practices added depth to our understanding. We enjoyed sampling local fruits and delicacies right from the boats, which was a unique experience.

The overnight stay in the Delta region allowed us to immerse ourselves in the serene and picturesque rural life. The accommodation was comfortable and authentic, providing a real taste of local living.
Day two offered more intimate encounters with the Delta's natural beauty and traditional industries. Visiting local workshops and engaging with artisans was both educational and inspiring. The leisurely boat rides through the tranquil canals were a highlight, allowing us to appreciate the natural beauty of the area.
Overall, the tour was a perfect blend of adventure, culture, and relaxation. The guide was knowledgeable and personable, ensuring a memorable experience. This tour is a must for anyone wanting to experience the heart and soul of the Mekong Delta.

We participated in the 2-day Mekong Delta tour with a homestay organized by BravoTravels. We were fortunate to have Tony as our guide, who provided us with fascinating insights into the local food, culture, and the development of the Mekong Delta. Despite booking a small group tour, we ultimately visited the same locations as all the other tourist groups, resulting in a rather touristy experience. We think that the main advantage of the small group was the use of a smaller bus and boat. Therefore, we would recommend saving some money and joining larger groups instead. ;)
