The build concept of this Foundation is also to integrate nature with human-made creations. The floor to ceiling wall gives visitors the feeling of expansiveness while viewing, lava, vegetation and mountains outdoors.
The late Cesar Manrique has interesting conclusions about our short lives, our environment that formed the principles with which he lived his life and how temporary existence on earth in Lanzarote could have preserved natural vistas.

Stunning ! We discovered a magical place steeped in the soul of the 1970s and the life of a surprising man who did so much to preserve the authenticity of Lanzarote.

Nice day, good bus driver, nice tour guide, we just didn't see a cactus garden. The foundation was worth a look. Special man who was an artist, he could make beautiful things. This also applies to the tour guide's explanation about the island and living on it. The problems that exist and a lot of explanation about volcanic activity.

My husband and I visited here last weekend . The Cesar Manrique foundation was so relaxing and breathtaking . His art is so bright and cheerful and his story was very interesting. We had a great visit.
The Teguise market was the loveliest one we've ever been too. Well organised and laid out and lots of hand made products . I would highly recommend thus tour

The bus picked us up from the hotel and after 1 hour and a quarter we arrived at the cactus garden, an unmissable site for those who love succulents, visit to the market, with typical objects also at an acceptable price, Manrique's house, particular, also beautiful if you don't see the whole house as in the photos it offers, the spectacular guide and driver in English and Spanish! I recommend this tour

This is far more interesting than perhaps you would expect.
The garden is in a bowl and once inside it is beautiful and like a different word.
Amazing how interesting and varied cactus can be.
A nice cafe with lovely views over the garden. Ideal for coffee and cake.
Very Manrique and the toilets are really interesting - at least check out all the exteriors !!
Very worth a visit.
