We were treated to great food, wonderful sights and history. Our guide is from the area and knows many people in the area as we walk along which makes it clear he is respected here.

I love doing food tours in different countries and cities and this one was so much fun! Great food at a number of different places with tastings of various local wines. Angelo was a great guide that was such a nice guy and so informative! He clearly knows his stuff and loves his city and people.
It was nice because we walked a fair amount (not too much, though) but had a chance to sit and eat/drink at several places. Everything from bruschetta to meats to pastas to gelato!
What was really nice was that Angelo took us to places we would never have found otherwise, which I really loved.
Highly recommend!

Angelo was a charismatic guide who is clearly passionate about food and his beloved Palermo. He gave us thought provoking insights into Sicilian life as well as top foodie tips.
The food lived up to expectations along with some excellent wines. Angelo made the whole experience fun despite the wet weather and had flexible plans to allow for rain.

Our trip to Palermo was made even better by a fabulous private tour with Angelo.
We got to visit several delicious stops. All the food was served promptly, fresh and with incredible local wines. All the foods were generous tastes of Sicilian dishes, and Angelo offered detailed explanations of their backgrounds, the flavours and about Sicilian life.
Our tour included our 91-year old gran, who has limited mobility. Angelo adapted our tour as we went to suit her abilities and customised stops to our interests, on top of the restaurants. We got to see many lovely churches and speak to friendly locals along the 4-hour tour.
Angelo was an excellent guide, who’s clearly passionate about his city, history and culture. We all left the tour with new knowledge and unanimous love for Angelo!
I’d recommend anyone who’s visiting Palermo to join a Streaty tour. You’ll definitely not leave hungry!!

We were fortunate that there were only 2 couples on our tour today. Angelo was an outstanding guide. He provided a tremendous amount of information about Palermo history as he led us between the food stops. The food samples were tasty and generous and we sampled four different Sicilian wines. We try to book a food tour in each major city that we visit and this one was probably the best to date. Highly recommend.
