Hanoi Food & Train Tour

If you want to try clean street food, this is the perfect tour to take. And since it’s a walking tour you get to see many different sights along the walking route. Thanks to Hugo our guide, who was very helpful in translating with the street vendors when we wanted to buy some fruits along the route. Thanks Hugo 😊

I booked a walking tour with hotel pick up. However, I was picked up by male on motorbike for a bike tour as only 2 had booked the tour. While I ultimately did enjoy the tour, I felt very uncomfortable, as a single female on my own, on a bike with male going down back streets and dark alleys. I know my guide was trying to give me a great experience of hanoi, and he did, but I felt very uncomfortable and afraid at times. Train street is amazing experience! I did enjoy, but would recommend bike tour for minimum 2 females.

An absolute fantastic time with Tom. The food, quirky little alley ways and a visit to Train Street. Toms history and intellect about Hanoi and Vietnam are first class. He could not do enough to make our tour a memory that would last forever.

This was one of the best moments I ever had during my journey in Hanoi, Vietnam! I enjoyed it a lot as I got to experience some delicious - unique- street foods, refreshing beverages and the egg coffee that I had been wanting to try for so long. My tour guide was kindly enough to make few stops as well to show me some historical places and landmarks along the way; the one I remembered the most is the place where a war plane's remains were kept along with different types of old mercenary weapons. I got to see the famous train passing as well, it was definitely an exhilarating experience to feel the rushing air of the train just few inches from your face ! All in all, I truly enjoyed this tour all thanks to the tour operator and my amazing tour guide ! Recommended.

We were advised of a hotel pick-up but needed to meet at another location when queried upon arrival in Hanoi. Tour guide Mr Anh was very good taking us to some amazing places to eat and the thrilling Train Street. He assisted us to safely navigate the streets and share his knowledge of Vietnam. Highly recommend.

Einstein was a star, accommodating, knowledgeable, funny, lead us to some brilliant food, explained Vietnamese food culture, avoided tourist traps and gave us a two train front row seat with beer on train street with beer, he's THE MAN!

Brilliant tour. Einstein our guide was so welcoming and knew exactly where to take us so we had the very best of experiences. This tour is the best thing you can do when visiting Hanoi!!! Thanks to Einstein and the team for organising and running this fabulous tour.

We had a great time. Super friendly guide, spoke good English. We learned a lot about food, language, culture, everyday life. Food was plenty (4 stops to eat). Reached traiin street through back entrance and had the perfect spot to watch the train.

Had some variety vietmanese delights and to finish off seeing the train crossing while we had a vietmanese coffee. At times there was a push for time, maybe the tour guide could keep his talks brief to allow more time at the eating places.
