We will take a comfortable walk through the wonders of the historic center of Palermo and the Mercato del Capo to capture the scents and colors of the old city. You will be able to observe extraordinary places and characters and admire some of the most important monuments of the city, such as the Teatro Massimo, the Duomo (we will visit the interior), the great Fontana Pretoria, the grandiose square called "i Quattro You sing" and much more.

In the famous Mercato del Capo (of Arab origin) we will stop for about half an hour (at Dainotti's) where you can taste, some of the best local Palermo specialties. Then, taste some local specialties from Palermo. Tuck into some sfincione (dough topped with onion, bread crumbs, tomato, and oregano), panelle (fried chickpea flour), crocché (potato croquettes), arancine (rice croquettes stuffed with meat or butter), and cannolo (crunchy shell with sweet -cheese).
Refresh yourself with a drink, to close off your tour in style.

Awesome tour!! Great introduction to the city, the history, and the food! Fabrizio is very knowledgeable and clearly loves this city and sharing it with new people. I recommend taking this tour at the very beginning of your trip, as he gives great recommendations throughout the tour of where to visit later, pointing out many restaurants, churches, tours, ect that are worth coming back to later. Food was delicious, easily my best arancina I had throughout the trip! Whether you are in the city for a day or a week, this tour is worth it 😁

Fabrizio was a wonderful guide. This tour is more of a street food tour than a visit to monuments. Guide knowledge of cathedral was excellent

I recommend Maurizio as a guide. He is prepared, professional, friendly and manages, with his explanations, to make you love Palermo even more which, in itself, is a beautiful city rich in history. If you want to take a tour around the city, trust Maurizio and you will be thrilled.

Really enjoyed the 3 hour tour that started at 10:30a with a local guide. Pace was fine for the group of 14. The guide was very entertaining and we learned a few stories of different landmarks in Palermo that we had not seen in guide books. We were provided a few street foods in the middle of the tour and a canolo at the end. Overall an enjoyable tour, would recommend.

We took a tour from Catania to Palermo in 6 days. We rented a car, what we liked the most was Taormina, it really is a beauty. After Raguzza by car it is impossible to park, it is advisable to spend the night in Marina de Raguzza. And Erice, in Trapani, a very good city. The spectacular highways removed the tolls. Palermo, very nice city, to explore. But the dirt on the streets caught our attention.
