It was an early start to meet the bus (which we got to later than advertised) for the 90 minute road trip. When we arrived we then had another 30 minute break for the toilet and to grab a coffee. When the tour finally started it was slow and cumbersome, although our guide did have a lot of facts and always offered himself for a chat if we had questions. A more impactful storyteller who offered a stronger sense of humour would lift the quality of the tour. All this aside, Bruges is a beautiful city and it was nice to see despite the heavy rain that accompanied us on our tour. It is also a very busy city which can be a challenge to navigate through the narrow lanes and streets. If you want to see Bruges then do go as it is a beautiful city, but you don't need a whole day to see it so perhaps look for alternatives.

Our tour guide was very personable. Talked to everyone in our group. Gave great humorous commentary and back ground stories as we walked by important locations! He was excellent!!!

Seeing the Michelangelo statue (Madonna and Child) in the Church of Our Lady and walking along the canal enjoying the architecture. Our guide was wonderful too!

We paid for 4 adults to be transported by bus from brusseks to Bruge for a guided tour in English. The large coach for the door was 80% Spanish and assigned a Spanish speaking guide. The rest of us had a Spanish guide who was not able to deliver the content for two factors. First, his English was mediocre. Second, The FM radios did not work unless you were 3 metres maximum and if he stood still. With a group of 20 this was not possible. We felt sorry for the guide who was out in this awkward position by BUENDIA, his employer. I asked BUENDIA for a 50% refund which is reasonable as the transportation was provided. They refused and directed me to Viator who sold us the 4 tickets. So over to you Viator. Can we have the refund please?

Not much to it really. We were picked up at the meeting point. Guide was hard to understand. But he was not the guide in Bruges. Guide there good kept us away from the bigger crowds. Showed us around and left to our own devices for 5 hours. Not a lot of history information though. Very good price for the tour. On a bus load of Spaniards . So two languages on bus.

Alvaro was a wonderful guide. After providing an informative tour of the ancient town, he answered all our questions, even offering suggestions on the best Bruges beers to try! The free time allotted was just right. Enough time for beer and chocolate tasting!

The guide Alvaro kept the tour informational and fun. There were some technical difficulties with the headphone sets, but he easily transitioned to speaking directly to the group. We had a large group, and he was good to take moments to stop and make sure everyone was still together. Alvaro took time to point out several historic sites and left us plenty of time to explore on our own. I did find out later that there are windmills to view if you keep heading north. I wish that info was shared during our tour so that I could have headed that way during the free time of the tour. Overall, it was well worth the time and cost.

Very good explanations, organization and treatment by our guide, friendly and polite. Since I'm a bit picky, I'm going to put 2 buts:
- I think we should get to the center of Bruges earlier. What is explained at the beginning can be done at the end, more briefly, meeting the group 15 minutes before, perhaps where "the horses"-
- I know it's a generational thing, but mine gets tired of hearing the term "okay?" at the end of each sentence, at least to me.
The excursion is recommended and the guide is very professional.

Guides were not your “typical” tour guides. There was no information given on the 1.5 hour ride to Brugge. No map was given-just basic directions to find our way back. One person was left behind.
Our headsets did not work. One of the worst guide experience with Viatour.
