Our bus will leave us in Bargeplein. Here we will have 10 minutes to go to the bathroom. The guide will explain at what time should we be back in the bus

Our first stop will be Minnewater, also known as the "Lake of love". With the beautiful lake on the background our guide will explain the history of Bruges as well as the love story occurred in this lake.

The next step of our tour will be the Begijnhof. Founded in 1245, this place saves the history of an incredible group of women.

In one of the few certified artisan chocolate shops, we will have the chance to taste artisan chocolates. Our guide will also tell us about the famous Bruges chocolate and will give you some tips to distinguish the handmade chocolate from the industrial one.

In this beautiful square, our guide will explain us the history of Bruges beer.

In front of old St. John’s Hospital, we will find the Church of Our Lady. From the outside, our guide will explain us some curiosities of the white marble sculpture of the Madonna and Child created by Michelangelo that is inside the church mentioned before.
10. Gruuthusemuseum
In the front of Gruuthuse, we will get to know the most famous and powerful family of Bruges between the XVII and XVIII centuries.
11. St Bonifacius Bridge
In one of the most charming spots of Bruges, our guide will explain the interesting legend of this bridge. You will also have time to take photos.
12. Quai du Rosaire / Rozenhoedkaai
In the most photographed place of Bruges, our guide will tell us about the history surrounding the "Pier of the roses". You will also have the chance to take some pictures.
13. Huidenvettersplein
Our next step is Tanners square, here we will learn about how tanners worked in the medieval Bruges.
14. Burg Square
In this square we find the Gothic Town Hall, the Old Court House and the Basilica of the Holy Blood.
15. The Markt
The last point of our guided tour in Bruges is The Market Square or Grote Markt. Here our guide will explain the different buildings around the square and will give some tips about where to eat or which are the best shops to buy the traditional chocolate. The guide will also remember you when and where you must be to take the bus to Ghent.

Free time, you will enjoy about 1,5 hours of free time (it depends on the traffic and the rhythm of the group).

We arrive to Ghent, one of the best-preserved medieval cities in Europe. We walk to the centre, where the guided tour will begin.

We start our guided tour in front of the Town Hall. Here our guide will explain us the different architectural styles of the building.
20. Belfry and Cloth Hall (Belfort en Lakenhalle)
Our guide will explain this emblematic tower and the history surrounding its dragon.
21. St. Bavo's Cathedral (Sint-Baafskathedraal)
You will discover the outside and the inside of Ghent’s Cathedral, where the most stolen painting in history is kept, the famous painting of the Van Eyck brothers “The Adoration of the Mystic Lamb”.

In front of the original facade of the Masons guild house, our guide will explain what guild houses are and the peculiarity of this one.

In front Saint Nicholas Church, we found the Korenmarkt. In this spot will be explained the peculiar history of the building where the post office used to be.

Upon this bridge you will be able to take incredible photos. Here will also be explained the story of the tower of Saint Michael's Church.
26. Graslei and Korenlei
We are going to follow the Lys riverbank. We will get to know the buildings surrounding Lys river such as the Masons’ Guild House or the current Marriot Hotel. You will also have the chance to take some photos.

The Great Butchers’, which dates back to the 15th century, was originally a covered market.

In front the Great Butcher's Hall, we will make a little stop in a traditional market stall where the seller will tell us about Ghent’s more famous candy, the cuberdon.
29. St. Veerleplein
The last point of our guided tour is Sint-Veerleplein Square. Here our guide will explain the story of the square and the different buildings around it. Also, will give some tips about where can you drink the traditional beer or which are the best souvenir shops. The guide will also remember when and where you must be to take the bus back to Brussels.
30. Ghent

Very good tour. The tour guide was Pablo. He knew a lot of cool informations. The buses are very good also, with AC. The tour is very cheap also.

It is a day trip to two beautiful Belgian towns and it is, obviously, far from enough time - but we knew that. It was just a convenient way for a general idea. Our guide was Pablo, a young Spanish man, who was very nice, knowledgeable and an interetsing guide. Although we expected a routine trip, we were looking forward to the trip program that was very comprehensive. However, some parts were skipped: we didn't go in a chocolate shop in Brugge and taste chocolate, we didn't learn about medieval houses, we didin't hear about pier of the roses, nothing about holy blood relic (one of the most important in Europe); in Ghent it was even worse since we didn't hear nothing about the van Eyck painting, St Nicholas church or the Kleine Vismarkt. The time is really restricted but than you don't make big plans. All the rest was OK. We started on time and we had a very pleasant drive to both cities and back to Brussels.

This was the best tour we have ever taken. Pablo was the best walking tour guide ever. He was very knowledgeable and working on his PhD. This tour was full of history lessons. Awesome tour not to be missed.

O lugar é de fato incrível, o que deixou a desejar foi o inglês do guia, se você não é nativo da língua, provavelmente não vai conseguir acompanhar, ele fala muito rápido. O guia Pablo pode falar um pouco mais pausadamente.

Apartment from the beauty of the cities visited, the way guide had explained the history was really memorable without him the tour would not be enjoyed as much as we did.

I had the pleasure of participating in a guided tour of Bruges and Ghent, and I can say that it was an absolutely incredible experience. Our guide, Irene, was exceptional in every way. His deep knowledge of local history and culture, combined with an obvious passion for his work, made the tour truly memorable.

Bruges, with its medieval charm and picturesque canals, was like a trip back in time. Irene showed us hidden corners and told us fascinating stories that we would not have discovered on our own. Every moment in Bruges was magical, from the stunning architecture to the delicious stops to sample Belgian chocolates.

Ghent was equally charming. The mix of modernity with medieval history was surprising, and Irene guided us through the vibrant streets, majestic cathedrals and impressive castles with incredible skill. He managed to capture everyone's attention, answering each question with detail and enthusiasm.

I am very grateful to Irene for making our visit to Bruges and Ghent an unforgettable experience. I recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore these beautiful cities with a guide who clearly loves what he does.

Wonderful historical cities, much larger than they appear. Lots of walking and then more walking. In retrospect we should have chosen one city to discover on our own. Leader moved at a fast pace. We thought everything was quite well preserved.

Unfortunately it was too chaotic, perhaps due to overbooked. Our guide seem inexperienced as he was not able to engage the crowd. Didn't wait for the whole group before moving on thus lost few important points.

Not enough time in Brugge & felt very rushed. Best to just do Brugge tour & not combined tour of Brugge & Ghent.
Brugge is more nicer than Ghent. The weather was terrible on the day we did the tour
