Visit Bruges and Ghent in one day, which is more beautiful? They are the two jewels of Belgium and a must-see for any traveler. If you only have one day and you can't decide, we offer you an alternative. You will learn from the hand of a guide of Spanish origin, the key points of each city.
Booking the tour to Bruges and Ghent is the best way to visit the cities. For a price very similar to if you go for free by public transport, you will do a tour with a Spanish guide in a small group and transport in high-end coaches.

Our bus will drop us off at Bargeplein. Here we will have 10 minutes to go to the bathroom. The guide will explain what time they should return to the bus.

Our first stop will be Minnewater Lake, also known as the "Lake of Love". With the beautiful lake in the background, our guide will explain the history of Bruges, as well as the love story linked to this lake.

The next stop on our tour will be the Beguinario. Founded in 1245, this place keeps the history of an incredible group of women.

In front of the old Hospital of San Juan, we will find the Church of Our Lady. From the outside, our guide will explain some curiosities of the white marble sculpture of the Virgin and Child created by Michelangelo that is found inside the church.

In front of Gruuthuse, we will meet the most famous and powerful family in Bruges between the 17th and 18th centuries.

In this square we find the Gothic town hall, the old courthouse and the Basilica of the Holy Blood.

In the most photographed place in Bruges, our guide will tell us about the history surrounding the "Muelle de las rosas". You will also have the opportunity to take some photos.

Our next stop is the Tanners Square, here we will learn how tanners worked in medieval Bruges.

The last point of our guided tour is the Grote Markt. Here our guide will explain the different buildings around the square and also give you some tips on where to eat or what are the best shops to buy traditional chocolate. The guide will also remind you when and where you need to be to catch the bus to Ghent.

In one of the few certified artisan chocolate shops, we will have the opportunity to taste artisan chocolates. Our guide will also tell us about the famous Bruges chocolate and give us some tips to distinguish handmade from industrial chocolate.

Free time, you will enjoy approximately 1.5 hours of free time (depending on traffic and the rhythm of the group).

Here awaits our guide and the bus. Transfer to Ghent.
18. Ghent
We arrived in Ghent, one of the best preserved medieval cities in Europe. We walk to the center, where the guided tour will begin.
19. Ghent Town Hall (Stadhuis)
We begin our guided tour in front of the Town Hall. Here our guide will explain the different architectural styles of the building.
20. Belfry and Cloth Hall (Belfort en Lakenhalle)
Our guide will explain this iconic tower and the history surrounding your dragon.
21. St. Bavo's Cathedral (Sint-Baafskathedraal)
You will discover the exterior and interior of the Cathedral of Ghent, where the most stolen painting in history is kept, the famous painting by the Van Eyck brothers "The Adoration of the Mystic Lamb".

In front of the original facade of the masons' guild house, our guide will explain what the guild houses are and their peculiarity.

In front of the church of Saint Nicholas, we find the Korenmarkt. In this place the peculiar history of the building where the post office used to be will be explained.

On this bridge you can take some incredible photos. The history of the tower of the Church of San Miguel will also be explained here.

We will follow the banks of the Lys river. We will get to know the buildings that surround the canal, such as the "grain house" or the current Marriott Hotel. You will also have the opportunity to take some photos.

The next stop is the meat house, which dates back to the 15th century and was originally a covered market.

In front of the Meat House, we will make a small stop at a traditional street stall. Here the seller will tell us about the most famous sweet in Ghent, the cuberdon.
29. St. Veerleplein
The last point of our guided tour is the Sint-Veerleplein square. Here our guide will explain the history of the square and the different buildings around it. Also, it will give you some tips on where to eat or which are the best souvenir shops. The guide will also remember when and where you need to be to take the bus back to Brussels.

We chose this agency to avoid moving on our own and it was a great success. Punctual and very friendly staff. The wireless system allows you to follow the guide's comments and take photos as you walk. The only downside is that they were battery-powered, they should already have rechargeable batteries.

The visit was incredible, Gio, our guide, made it very enjoyable and explained everything great. In the morning we visited Bruges, we had some free time to take photos and after eating, we headed to Ghent. Everything was on time, as planned.

It was great to see two cities in a single day. I would spend more time in Bruges, but I say that personally, because I liked it there more. But Ghent is cool, and it's worth seeing both cities in one day.

The trip and tour guide was wonderful. Getting to the bus was about 1 mile uphill. This was at 9am. That part was not impressive.

Unfortunately the day wasn't the best, a freezing wind and heavy snow.
The guide, very young, speaks English quickly, so if you don't have a good command of the language, don't even take this tour.
The guide spends a long (too) long time talking about things, which are mostly not very fascinating.
In both Bruges and Ghent the guide leaves you 1.5 hours free to visit whatever you want.
Ask for the meeting point and the exact time, because they don't expect anyone.
The supplied radio is of little use, to hear you have to stay a maximum of 3 meters from the guide otherwise it has too much interference. I recommend it only to people who have more than 3 days to stay in Brussels otherwise there is no reason to do it.

My partner and I did the tour and were both pleasantly surprised by our well run and easy the tour was. Salva, our guide, had a great understanding of the cities we visited and organised our large group well.

The trip was well worth the money and a great way to see these cities
