Great experience! Very well and professionally organised. From the first meeting, to the pick up, ticketing for the train. Bernito is an excellent guide with profound knowledge and great social skills! The picnic was delicious with splendid views and great variety of food, didn’t expect that!
Of course the entrance through sungate is awesome! We had all time in the world up there. The Hotel in Aguas Calientes was extra class!
The bus rides up and down the next day were very convenient :)
Bernito did everything in his power for us to have an amazing experience! Muchas gracias!

We joined three tours during our time in the cusco area and Jacob is the best guide we had. He’s cheerful, knowledgeable and caring. He speaks great English and he looks after us very well, especially my 63-years-old mum. Not only did he told us stories about Machu Picchu but also Cusco and Peru.

I also loved how he told us the story of Machu Picchu, clearly distinguishing between theories and facts.

Hotel we stayed was simple but clean and comfortable.

Oh, did I forget to mention that the all the meals were amazing?

Just a last warning, the Inca trail is no joke with a lot of stairs that definitely deterred the Spanish.

The tour was amazing!

We had an expert and fantastic guide, Jacob, who showed us the beauty of Machu Picchu. We learned so much and enjoyed the view.

A landscape like Machu Picchu is unparalleled. The group was fantastic, and we shared many wonderful moments and laughter together. This trip created unforgettable friendships and experiences.

Thanks for this experience!!!!!!!

We had the experience of a lifetime hiking the two days inca trail with AB Expeditions. Ask for Jacob as a guide when booking, he is not only a professional guide but also a skilled photographer and a wonderful hiking companion.

Jacob is an amazing guide. He’s Hilarious and knowledgeable. He is proud of being a Peruvian yet never forget to help and to serve. During the trail, he has been looking after us while not still give us enough room to walk on our own. It’s such a self fulfilling experience with jacob

We have done the 2-day Inca trail to MachuPicchu with our guide Toni. We would like to point out a couple of things: Toni is a fantastic, entertaining and fun guide with whom we really enjoyed sharing the trek. The hotel we stayed at in Aguascalientes seemed like a very good option (Tara-La Retama 3*), we have no objections about it, we are delighted. They had the detail of giving my partner a birthday cake for breakfast. However, we would like to comment on certain things in order to improve the service offered: It does not seem normal to us that paying €540 per person it is suggested that we tip the food porter... we consider that it should be included and that he should be well remunerated for your part. The included dinner on the first night does not include drinks, paying what we paid... not even a bottle of water, it doesn't seem right to us. As we would say in Spain, it looks shabby. On the second day we believe that the guide should accompany us throughout the journey, instead of giving us tickets and letting us orient ourselves. We are adults and capable of doing it on our own, but if the tour is two days... we really are accompanied the entire time. They told us that they would wait for us with a sign with our name in Ollantaytambo upon arrival by train, there was NO ONE. We didn't have wifi and we couldn't contact AB either. We were lucky enough to coincide with the 4-day AB group on the Inca Trail and upon seeing their red t-shirts we chased them until we reached the parking lot where the mobility was. And I don't think anyone was aware that they had to take us back, although they say they did. Commenting on the t-shirts... I seem to remember that they provided us with a rain poncho and a backpack cover, it rained (luckily not much) and we didn't take ours because we thought they would give it to us... and nothing . We also told our guide that we wanted a quote for Montaña de 7colores, Laguna Humantay and Sacred Valley with Maras Moray to consider doing it with you... but they didn't give it to us either. We commented on this by email to the company, and after 48 hours they have not responded to us. With all this, I finish now, I consider that paying the high amount we paid, these things should be improved or the cost of the excursion lowered.

Jacob was a fantastic guide! He was super attentive and tried his best to help us have the best experience even though we couldn't hike the short inca trail due to food poisoning. His explanations were super insightful and interesting and we felt looked after constantly. I hope we can do the inca trail another time with Jacob, he is a champion!

Thanks a lot to Jacob who was super attentive to us and our situation. We have really enjoyed the tour in Machu Pichu! One of the best excursions we have ever received! Hope to return one day and go to Inca Trail again with AB expeditions and especially with Jacob :)

My tour guide was Amilcar and he made this a once in a lifetime experience. I was solo and there was also a group of Spanish speakers which meant that on top of leading the tour he had to share everything twice. In addition to being a tour guide he also acted as a a translator, professional photographer, and ultimate hype man. He made the experience fun and effortless. Couldn’t recommend a better guide.

Unbelievable experience! Everything was dialed in around logistics and made it very easy on us. Food spread on the mtn was the best lunch we’ve ever had! We’ll be back to do more exploring in the Andes and AB will be our guides of choice. Thank you!
